Nuvegan

I am new to this vegan world. My husband and I stopped here, out of curiosity I was not disappointed. . The food was AWESOME!!...I will be going back. I don't know how the chick n dummies taste like chicken (so good)..collard greens and sweet potatoes, oh my I want some now just thinking about it now makes me want some dinner. This is my new way of life now and the food isn't bland

Yet another place we made friends with everyone. The staff is killer here and the food is top notch. The cinnamon bun was another level but the tuna Mac was my wife’s favorite she bought two for herself and barely shared. The Tofu patty was the closest thing I’ve ever had to a McRib as a vegan and I wish I got it as some kind of sandwich. Loved this place cant wait to get back to Richmond.

I happened to be driving by here 1 day and literally doubled back because I just had to try them out for myself! I ordered the vegan BBQ rib, sweet potatoes, collard greens (not shown), then Chik'n drummies, cabbage, and mac & cheese. My favorites were the Chik'n drummies, cabbage, sweet potatoes, and greens. The other items weren't bad, but could use some seasoning to kick it up a notch. Luckily, the menu is SOOO vast that you can mix and match meals for a month and never have the same combination twice! I'll definitely be back to explore the rest of the menu!!

OMG…. RUN THERE NOWW!!!!! I am a pescatarian and I have tried a number of vegan places but NuVegan by far is the ABSOLUTE BEST!!!! If you’ve had Philly Vegan and liked them, you’re going to LOVEEEE NUVEGAN!!!! Parking is on the street but it was very easy for me on a Friday evening to find parking. The music, was EVERYTHING! If you’re like me and love 90s R&B then this is the place for you! They played hit after hit after hit. Honey I felt like I was at a concert waiting in line. The options are endless and they even allow free samples. Me and husband got different things to try each others food. So we tried the chicken sandwich with Mumbo sauce, steak and cheese, yams, cabbage, collard greens, Mac and cheese, cornbread and chicken salad! Money well spent. Everything was delicious! And the customer service was superb! They even bought our food to us at our table. I truly can’t wait to visit them again!

I have been vegan 20yrs and fly all over the world this little gem Of a vegan restaurant tops all! How lucky are the people who live here to have this amazing restaurant so close?
