I love the atmosphere. It feels more like home than a restaurant. And the food is awesome..I suggest the Village Cafe every time I get to go to breakfast. Topped off by friendly waitresses...

This little hole in the wall is great! The food is home cooked, owners are very pleasant, food has flavor, portions are just right, still close enough to down town, prices just right and parking if plentiful!
You get served with corn fritters that are delicious! Wait staff is super friendly. You can purchase pastries/baked goods by locals at the counter.
Small, quaint and home like atmosphere. I come here when I can and bring friends too!

Best breakfast in Richmond. We've also had lunch here and it as great also. The portions are very reasonable and not huge. The coffee tastes good and lots of home made options. The staff is very friendly. I would highly recommend The Village Cafe for any meal. It's not a greasy spoon.

I love this little restaurant, I love the hush puppies&fruit they give you before your meal.I have taken my mother-in law there which is from N.H.Also have taken my sis her there for breakfast from Etna,Maine.They both very much enjoyed your little place,and so don't i.Nice friendly invirment.

Sue's hollandaise sauce is homemade as homemade gets! Love having breakfast here! Once a month Saturday dinner is worth the wait also!

Amazing atmosphere, great owners and staff, amazing food! Always service with a smile and everything is homemade! You get starters for every breakfast of fresh fruit and fritters that are out of this world!!! Stop in and see Sue and John they will make every experience one to remember and keep you coming back!! Local amazing fresh!
