Hanna's Shawarma

My wife and I had dinner at Hanna's last night and it was a terrible experience.After walking through the door, staff walking by and for roughly 15 minutes and being the only customers waiting at the door to be seated none of the staff even asked to getting us seated. We thought to pick one of few available tables to seat ourselves before we managed to get one of the staff's attention to get us a table. After ordering our appetizers, main course and drinks, we get one of our two salads and she forgot about the other. Our Shrimps, soup came all apart and "Half way through our dinner" we are asked if we would want a Laffa and pickles? Yes, I replied to her, we do but it would been a lot better with our soup and before the dinner was served. The worst part of our dinner was that I clearly asked if the RainBow Trout was the whole fish and she responded yes, it was. After ordering the Rainbow, I received two small pieces of small cuts from the fish with an absolutely treble smell of the fish skin, and no flavour. I asked our waitress about my Rainbow and she asked her manager to come to our table with some ridiculous justifications and at the end we notice that he has taken $2.60 off from the bill. I called him back to give him the $2.60 back. The Manager should pay more attention to the quality of his food and the service instead of providing these generous discounts off their bills. We won't go back and we don't recommend Hanna's.

My wife and I ended up here one night while searching for a place to eat. We decided to try this place out. My wife ordered the shrimp skewer plate and I ordered the dark chicken meat skewer plate. We both enjoyed our meals. My chicken was juicy and tasty. My wife's shrimp were cooked just right. The dips were also good and the laffa were well prepared. Overall we had a good experience and we will be back.

I have eaten here regularly for a long time but no more. I have a problem with restaurants that douse their tables with Windex as a cleaner. That's exactly what happened tonight. I asked them to clean the table we were at as it had not been cleaned from previous customers. The waitress came with a bottle of Windex and sprayed excessive amounts on the table. It's disgusting. Got up and left, never returning. Owners, try vinegar and water and lemon. More sanitary, less toxic and the table doesn't smell like a sprayed window! Note: Has since closed down.

Great food, good prices, friendly staff. I knew i had gone to the right place when my salad came with a garlic cream dressing and my server volunteered the information that raw red onion usually comes on the salad and asked if i was okay with that because some people dont like raw red onion. I'm one of those people and was very happy she asked. I had the chicken schnitzel with garlic potatoes and veggies and it was fantastic. Highly recommend you check this place out.

SAVE YOUR MONEY. Horrible place to say the least. Waiters are friendly but management are EXTREMELY RUDE to staff and to customers. Food has become way below standards. We have been regular customers of Hanna's since they originally opened many many years ago. We will never return to that despicable place. Very bad experience all around. I highly recommend going across the street to ME VA ME where they serve the same menu but a much better food quality, beautiful venue and wonderful cheerful staff...

I literally just created google account just so that I can finally rate this idiotic place. It's been long over due. I remembered when they open the very first time. Their food quality and quantity was great. Now I can't say the same. I went today to give it a try one last time and I was left with complete disappointment. The salmon fish was burned and they almost never refil the water. Lastly the waiters have major attitude and the HEAD CHEF included. I feel sick right now after eating their food. THIS PLACE DOES NOT DESERVE EVEN 1 STAR.

I came here for lunchtime by myself, and the restaurant was quite empty save for one large party. My server was pretty friendly, and offered some suggestions on what was popular (the chicken dishes). I ordered the double chicken shish with a side of garlic potatoes. Service time was ok, nothing crazy. When the food was brought out it was a little plain looking. The chicken was very standard, but the potatoes were pretty good. The sauce for the chicken was very cold, however, and was clearly taken out of the fridge. I'm not a big fan of cold sauces with warm meat on a somewhat overpriced meal, so I can't recommend this place. Me va me across the street is probably a better bang for your buck, or Mr. Greek in the same plaza (which has pretty crazy portion sizes).
