Great Japanese restaurant for large groups. Have alway come with a party of 8 or more, and have experienced great service. The food is a little on the pricy side, but that being said, they also have many of the authentic plates (okonomiyaki, koroke) that other joints don’t. Pitchers of Sapporo, and sushi platters are always winners! Parking is a nightmare, as multiple restaurants share the same lot. Be prepared to circle a bit.

Overpriced for sushi and the purple rice makes it look unappetizing in my opinion. Service was average, nothing special, just took our order and delivered food. Sushi was not the greatest and I’ve had better for a cheaper price. We made a mistake of ordering rolls, which made it expensive but if we ordered sushi rice bowls, it probably would’ve been a lot cheaper. We paid about $80 for two people which is ridiculous since it’s pricier than ayce and also lower quality

Tasty food, atmosphere is good also staffs was ok too. House Hot Sake was hot enough to taste actual Sake. I will go back and I like totry other menu as well. Sashimi salad $9 mayo dressing. Butter squid $13 serve with mayo dip(little spicy flavored) Nagasaki (sea food) Jampong( add noodle for extra $2.(Japanese udong noodle). Some kind of Don(serve with purple riceand miced sashimi and mayo dressing.

Been here 3x...the latest was a bad experience service wise. We asked to move tables since it was by a window and -30C out. The server said the other side is just as cold when in fact it wasn't. Maybe she didn't want to walk further to serve us and was visually annoyed when we insisted to move tables. Waited 15min before taking our order and drinks didn't come until after the first few dishes. When she gave us the bill, there were still dishes on our table. The food was good though, the spicy pork is to die for and the sushi is also pretty good! I really enjoyed the fried prawns as well.

Really? We asked for tea and the waiter told us we just have for one glass of tea. How funny is this? First of all, based on google, the store has to be open till midnight on Sundays but we were told that they will close at 10:30!!! And the service! No water no tea and no respect. Good luck to this business.

Read really good reviews about this restaurant. We came here for dinner, and e ordered their sashimi, Maki, buttersquid, and tempera. The tempera was really good, and so was their Maki (they used purple rice!) The buttersquid was a disappointment. There was too much sauce, it was tough to chew, and was lukewarm. The sashimi was a huge disappointment. The thickness was thicker than my thumb and it was cut unevenly. It didn't seem fresh...and just overall was bland. Not worth $50.
