Sarpa

Went here for the first time to celebrate my cousins birthday. Everything we ordered was super delicious. We devoured everything! My personal favourite was the gnocchi as it was super soft, fluffy, and a little crispy on the outside. The texture of the gnocchi was made to perfection and it was delicious!!! The service was also amazing. Our glasses were always filled and I especially appreciated how they changed our plates and wiped down the table after every course. Had a very good experience dining here and will definitely be back.

We tried Sarpa out for the first time yesterday! For the food: Great option in our neighborhood if you’re ever craving a hearty gnocchi. We ordered the bruschetta, the fries, two portions of the gnocchi and the olive oil cake. All of the food was good. The only thing I wasn’t a fan of was the honey reduction on the fries. It was a bit too sweet for me. Also- the gnocchi was tasty but needed a bit more flavor in it. Some salt , some garlic powder, some something ! The olive oil cake was alright - it was light and puffy but ill try the tiramisu next time. For the service: amazing ! I believe Anthony was our server and he was very easy to talk to, and not pushy at all. He gave good recommendations and came to check on us periodically to refill our glasses. We felt well taken care of and enjoyed talking to him. Thanks Sarpa, we’ll be back soon to try out the other items on the menu :)

Their gnocchi is easily the fluffiest gnocchi I’ve ever had. I’m pretty particular about the starchiness of gnocchi and this gnocchi has the perfect cloud like texture. I would definitely recommend! The beef tartare is light but with very strong flavours (in a good way). If going with a group, I would recommend getting the beef tartare and gnocchi as a shareable for everybody! I also love that they give warm bread to start. Fresh and tasty!

It is not my first time to this restaurant and I’m happy that despite restrictions and a somewhat cold weather we could enjoy a nice evening here. I took an Atlantic Char dish and it was beautifully done. The wine (half a bottle of Chianti Classic) was smooth and delicious. Unfortunately the steak was not great. The meat has an after taste that my wife did not like.
