Marker 107

Omigoodness! Wonderful experience, all around! Our server, Allie, was amazing. She saw us struggling with our dip/bread bowl appetizer, and gave us a tip on the best way to go about eating it. She was such a bubbly, personable, young lady. Shrimp and grits were soooo good. I thought I’d had yellow grits of all kinds, but I these were not like any I’ve ever eaten. Our family shared the marsh mud pie, where I was introduced to Nutella Mousse! I find many restaurants to be a little too dark in the evening, and if I had one negative thing to say, that would be it, but only bc I wanted to get a good look at my grits, so I could replicate them at home. I can’t wait to go back. Maybe during the day so we can sit out on the deck to see the river, and so I can get a better look at those grits!

Incredible food and excellent service, Ms. Cory assisting me via telephone and the waitress , forgot her name, but great customer service, zero complaints, and she made my family very happy when she brought the desert to my wife which was celebrating her birthday. We attended August 5, 2023, around 1900hrs. Very nice restaurant and view to the river. It was perfect for my family. Appetizers very good and go for the gray platter combination and Shirley temple drinks for the kids for sure..... Gracias

We didn't have reservations, but were seated immediately, with a glorious view of the river. All of the staff was pleasant, well informed and efficient; but we were never rushed. The cocktails and appetizer were slam dunks. Then came a glorious crispy whole flounder, nicely fried shrimp and oysters, and tasty sides. The food and atmosphere triggered a flood of childhood memories for my wife, whose advanced dementia means memories are especially precious. The awesome service and perfectly prepared food offered a rare chance for relaxation and laughter, including the declaration that the flounder was even better than her dad's. The best thing is that everyone there was receiving the same astonishing quality of experience.

We loved everything about Marker 107! The restaurant and the setting are gorgeous. The food was absolutely delicious! And the service was excellent. Our server was kind and knowledgeable. We and our friends were having such a wonderful time that we didn't even notice it was past closing time when we finished our meals. No one tried to rush us out, and everyone was incredibly gracious. We will be back...often.

First time dining here. Took off one star cause it took long to seat us even with a reservation. Our server was a bit overwhelmed and we waited to be greeted once seated, and had to ask for refills even though she passed our table many times throughout our meal. We ordered the okra fries, seafood dip which was okay. The fried seafood platter and shrimp tacos were good. The BEST was the chocolate cream pie dessert. Will try again and order the other menu items.
