Royal Sweets

It used to be good experience several years ago. Minor improvements in cleanliness are readily apparent. Unfortunately the fast food preparations have taken a dive. As for desserts, the bewildering question is how can gulab jamun be so hard. Beware of the pre-packaged jalebi. These are past their prime - hence the discount price and inability to sample. Update (after 1 year): noticeable improvements in all categories: freshness, quality and cleanliness. The staff now venture out from behind the counter to bring your orders to your table :)

Went to Royal sweets in Richardson after ages, as my husband and I were craving some chaat. There was a sign at the door that said mask required for everyone. The sign itself made me happy. As a x 3 vaccinated healthcare workers, We were pleased with the sign. And at this point they could have had our money no matter how the food was. The employee wore her mask correctly and was wearing gloves and did hand hygiene correctly. The chaat we ordered to go was made perfectly. Tasted delicious and quantity was plenty. We will order again.
