Sonic Drive-in

Finally had a chance to visit the newest location on South Virginia. Had a classic Cheese burger with bacon, chili cheese tots and a raspberry slush with fresh lemon. Just as good as ever. Great fast and friendly service. Had forgotten that they are one of the only "fast food" joints that puts real bacon, not that paper thin perfectly flat precooked quasi-bacon most places use. How delicious! Will certainly be heading there again soon. So nice to have a location on this side of The Meadows.

Glad to see a Sonics is South Reno. I had the dbl cheeseburger and it is nice to see a hamburger with fresh patties that haven't been in a warmer drawer for a hour or two. Not quite as fresh as In and Out but it's a big burger and very tasty. The hot dogs were good too. Keep the quality up and this will be my go to fast food stop. update: Went back a second time and ordered a dbl cheese with chili....just terrible. My friend ordered a singe and dbl deluxe and both were worth about 2.5 stars. The time of day was 2 in the afternoon. I'll stick with the hot dogs....they can't screw that up can they?If your going to sell dried out hamburger patties that have sat in a warmer for a hour,you should sell them for a deep discount or just toss them...they are inedible.No excuse to serve food like this at full price! Lost a customer.

Usually Sonic is my go to place for a quick snack. Unfortunately I was waiting for 20 minutes for my order and it was not busy at all. I had to call the store to ask what was going on with my order. They were very nice and apologized profusely but the food that was given was cold and my soda tasted water down. I am just disappointed with the experience altogether.
