Hellfire Saloon

I ordered a full rack of pork ribs with baked beans and coleslaw to go. The ribs were under cooked in the middle (see pictures where the fat is layered and undercooked near the bone) and burned in many places on the outside. By far the worst ribs I've ever had. Probably due to inconsistent cooking temperatures caused by the smokers location in the parking lot exposed to rain that day. The baked beans were drowned in Tabasco and ended up in the garbage with the ribs and coleslaw. The green beans were very good. Two Stars is generous for the food I was served. I think if it had not rained the day I was there the ribs would have been ok. So I gave them two Stars. Their Google reviews are very good so the rest of their menu may be very good also. I hope so anyway.

I really, really enjoyed my breakfast at Hellfire. Their coffee was strong enough to wake the dead, and when The Traveler arrived, I knew I had found the right place. Who doesn't love a breakfast burrito that is 2 entire breakfasts?!! Needless to say, I took it home and it again the next day. I swear the pork got better. Come to Hellfire Saloon, where a single plate can feed a small town.

I've been here a few times. Each time the place has been less than half full and the waitress acts as though she is the busiest person in the world, not very friendly but not rude either but very scattered. The owner, whom is hands on, is very down to earth and friendly as well as a good chef. The food is pretty darn good and the atmosphere is also good. The menu has a decent selection and the prices are fair. I think once they can get a grasp on service, this place has potential to be one of the best bbq places in northern Nevada.

The food wàs amazing. Had the pulled pork 🥪. There was so much pork I actually ate twice off of it. BBQ sauce was excellent with a good smoky taste to it, loved it. The owner was very helpful but the service was terrible. I tried to get water and waited until my to go order was ready before they actually came to see what I needed. This is the reason for the 4 stars and not 5.

The owner and the waitress both educated us about everything since there's so many choices on the menu. I can't wait to try all of them. I took the waitresse's advice to get the Chicken Melt sandwich and it was the best thing I've eaten in months as were the wings (Bourbon and Thai Chili) and the Mac n Cheese (voted best in town). Not fast food and not cheap but that's why it's so great. Great live music, too. Wow, I left full! And had lunch for the next day.
