Denny's

The food tastes great and and the service was great too. We stopped by for breakfast and ordered a couple of the usual items from the menu. They were busy but we still received our food fairly quick. A little more work on the cleanliness would be good. Get the extra napkins to wipe your table or utensils.

Close to the freeway and after many visits over the years, still decent food and friendly staff. Had a long drive from Bend OR today and staying at a motel close by this Denny's location. Prices are always good and reliable quality of food. Tonight I order the Supreme Skillet. It is a breakfast item with egg, spinach, mushrooms, tomato, sausage, bell peppers and onion. Almost finished it but just shy as I was so full. Enjoyed it very much. Tried and liked the new Bacon Cheese Loaded Tots. Not too bad at all; special that they make them not the frozen store bought. Both are good but the change was welcome. The cook and waitress we had were wonderful! Friendly and making sure we had what we needed. The cook came out as he had made an insignificant change on my order by accident. He came to apologize and to remake the dish. Told him it was perfectly fine and it was. Really appreciated his care. The waitress keep an eye on our needs and returned with drinks often on this warm night. The women's room stalls have two of the three marked off as broken; they clearly are. So that was a bit unsightly but mostly limiting restroom availability. That said, the rest of the place seemed in order and we enjoyed our visit. We will be back.

We ordered some strawberry pancake puppies and when the waitress brought them to our table, she had to explain what they were! They were dark brown, oddly, various shaped, oily slop that looked like they were forgotten at the bottom of the fryer! I picked one up and tasted it and it tasted like nothing but fryer oil! NO STRAWBERRY TASTE, and it left my fingers full of oil! The Santa Fe sizzlin' skillet I ordered looked NOTHING like the picture: not even close, and I had more overcooked onions than anything else. The chicken fried steak was greasy, overcooked and absolutely NOTHING was even close to what the picture showed and ALL the food was and tasted disgustingly oily and terrible!!! We had to ask for silverware (after our slop got to our table) and the manager questioned if we really needed some silverware!!! I had to ask for my coffee to be topped off and had to wait awhile and there were hardly any other guests there, so they weren't busy at all. They were standing around laughing and talking! Their conversation was more important to them than their guests, the quality of the food and the appearance of the dining area. WE WILL NOT VISIT THIS LOCATION ANY MORE!!!! I WISH WE'D BE REIMBURSED!!!!

We were greeted and seated very quickly. It was a wait for our server, who was busy. Paula took over getting beverages and our order. The cook went on break and the other server took over the kitchen. It seems they could have used another server but after patiently waiting 30 minutes our food arrived. We tried the $8.99 breakfast deal, scrambled eggs with cheese, hash browns and pancakes. Refills until your full! The food was hot, fresh and delicious!

The worst customer service ever, I know it's just a dennys but waiting an hour for drinks, appetizers never arrived, 2 hours to get our food with 2 orders of food missing is horrible, I understand that this covid deal has everyone understaffed but nobody should have to go through this when there wasn't even a lot of customers...
