Good location - within walking distance of Reading train station which is a plus when getting home late after an amazing evening with friends!

What a great place!! There was so much food and it was really tasty, the rice is amazing and they cook the bread fresh. What really makes it though is the service; wonderful and friendly staff, super helpful, warm and welcoming. The team made our visit an absolute joy and a pleasure.

The space is good for both intimate dinners and larger gatherings. I met a friend there and we shared a table by the window. The menu at Persian Palace features an array of dishes that showcase the diverse flavors of Persian cuisine. The staff was attentive and friendly but there was a slight challenge due to the language barrier. We ordered a platter for two people and could not finish all the food. It came out in a reasonable time and was delicious! Whether you're a fan of Persian food or a newcomer eager to explore new flavors, Persian Palace is a must-visit in Reading. I recommend it to anyone looking for a good dining experience and authentic Persian food in the Reading area.

Our family really enjoyed first time experience eating Persian food. This restaurant is set in lovely pretty location of Reading, right by the Thames river bridge which created a great view and atmosphere p. The food portion size is incredible, lovely combination of ingredients and well presented tea. The staff were very friendly and provided a good service. However, parking is bit of an issue being located on busy main road. Will return again!

We just had delicious lunch at Persian Palace. Wonderful atmosphere, outstanding service and excellent food.
The restaurant was newly redecorated and looks beautiful inside with the addition of classic music. We’ll be back soon. Recommend to everyone.

Amazing food, friendly staff, good service. The decor is really detailed and extremely well done. There are some traditional floor-seating sections towards the front which are a great experience.
I'd highly recommend get their freshly made naan in the on-site tandoor, and also get a pot of Persian tea at the end of your meal (you'll end up having more than one).
It used to be reasonably priced, however they might have increased prices recently because our last visit the bill was much, much higher than I expected even though we got mostly the same stuff we usually order.
I'd recommend it as a one-off for the experience but be warned to expect £30-£40 per person. Wouldn't recommend it for the prices, which are now too high.

Came here for a lunch with the family, the food was absolutely amazing normally. I cannot fault the food at all. The waiters were super friendly and polite location is wonderful over looking the river . Definitely is one of the best Persian I have had to date.

What an amazing place!!!
You can have the best Persian cuisine while overlooking the River. The interior is completely in line with the traditional Iranian culture. The drapes, walls and even bathroom has the reflection of Eastern art!!

Delicious food with nice views!
It was our first ever visit to this restaurant recommended by a Persian colleague. Prices were high but portion size was huge per person. Starters were tasty with fresh tandoori naan. Baklava wasn't good, too dry and not upto the flavours.
