Place went downhill. I swore after the previous time I went never again. That time I got the same order I always do the only exemption was a bagel instead of toast on my sandwhich yet was charged $2 more even though their menu says it's a 50 cent increased. This time their full stack of pancakes only had 3 in it. It's funny listening to their workers saying they don't charge certain people for upgrades. I guess they just overcharge other ones to make up the difference

The food is absolutely delicious and the owner is such a nice, friendly woman. This is definitely one of the best places to eat in the Reading area, with an owner who truly takes pride in what she does and treats her customers like family!

If you ever stay at the Hilton just come here for the real Breakfast/ Lunch. Let the hotel give you a banana, water and muffin for free and walk 3 blocks to get a MiniMess (see menu) and a good cup of coffee... You will not be disappointed.

You know why I'm here, for the delicious mess! It's so good! Every time my family is in town, they want a mess. It's so delicious, the perfect blend of eggs, cheese, and potatoes. Be aware that it's a hot mess in terms of being busy and crowded, but don't let that sway you. It's worth it.

Service could have been better.. also, they charge a fee if you want to pay with a card. I brought to their attention that it is illegal to do so and I was told that they don't care

Always love this place. A place with great food and prices if you're not looking for a fancy place to eat. A family tradition for generations. Try the Marvel Mess.... potatoes onion eggs cheese etc. made to order the way you like it. One of the few places that serve my favorite, grits.
