Hawk's Restaurant

Lived in this area for most of my life and always heard how great Hawk's was but never been until some co-workers wanted to go while I was in town for work. The crawfish were ok but it seemed most people were here for the booze and crawfish experience. If that is your thing then you should check them out. If not, there are better crawfish joints in the area.

I'm sorry but this is not the best crawfish ever. This place disappointed me for the second time. Ordered hot or extra spicy with a group at 5 pounds at a time( big group) the seasoning is on the outside. Anyone from Louisiana knows that the season does not go on the outside. And then there is no spice. They serve the spicy with a jalapeno 🤦🏾‍♀️ I guess that's what makes it spicy. Don't get me wrong. They are a nice size. But they do not soak them. Soaking is the key. Period....cook them in plain water and salt. Then soak for 5 to 10 min in seasoning pot. And try a different season. Their season has sugar. Ain't nothing spicy when u add sugar

My wife and I went there for the first time. Experience was good. Great waitress. Nice cajun decor. Food on the other hand not so much. The crawfish were clean and large. Astronomically priced. They were 7 dollars a pound. The market is 1.50 at this time. I refused to buy any for myself and I thought they were very under seasoned. My wife on the other hand thought they were terrific. She is a Yankee by the way. I got the etoufee and shrimp. Etoufee was filling and that's about it.

Hawk’s is absolutely amazing and worth seeking out. I had one of the best meals in my life there last night. I thought I had had good crawfish before but my experience here was on a completely different level. I don’t ever want to have crawfish anywhere else again. We live in California and already are thinking about our next trip to come back and visit. The service is great as well and the space is so inviting.

Huge crawfish, best I have ever eaten. Nice yellow fat. We got there extra extra hot, and really it's not as hot as you think. I like my fingers and lips to burn, they didn't. That is the only reason I didn't give em 5 stars. Also, bread pudding is not worth it. It is lacking flavor. We tried their seafood stuffed jalapenos, very good. Overall, best crawfish around and will go back!!!
