We are working away for 5 months near the pub so it's easy for our work force. We seen the menu for the goose and have spent most our nights here for evening tea, the service of the girls is exceptional, ann Marie is such great help, great to talk too, always stops and has a chat. Good service and even better food. Nice, easy, welcoming pub/restaurant to visit.

Had a Lasagna, brownie with ice cream and apple juice. It's actually better than first impressions, certainly better than microwaving weathersp down the road, and I normally like to have a good restaurant-like meal! The only thing I didn't like were the TV screens all around me with rugby or football blaring out; it's just not good table company. But on a Friday night at 20:00, I could argue that's expected. All in all, good food at a budget friendly price, in good pub like atmosphere.

Love coming here with my grandchildren when we're on holiday. Granddaughter loves your mac n cheese. So many places no longer have it on their menu's! Don't take it off, please 🙏

Sunday 20th World Cup - sad result. The Goose staff never stopped for 3 hours solid.
Customer service exemplary. Staff attitude brilliant. Atmosphere spot on.
Highly recommended for sports events.

A big pub which is not usually very busy when I go which is generally mid afternoon during the week. Sometimes groups of young mums and babies and can be toddlers running around.

I had the pleasure of being served by an exceptional waitress, Megan. Her attentiveness, friendly demeanor, and prompt service truly completed the experience. She effortlessly anticipated our needs and provided valuable recommendations from the menu. Her professionalism, warm hospitality and beautiful smile left an everlasting impression. 10/10. Worth going just too see the waitress! Will be coming again and again.

Love coming here for a meal and/or drinks. They are always friendly and efficient. We were served by Ann-Marie who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Coffee is nice.
