A brilliant traditional english pub but also a great venue for live acts and bands. Last night was a packed house to watch the amazing King Pin. Definitely worth a visit.

The brook is a good old fashioned pub (not a bar), beers are good with two ales and a large range of largers. Bar staff are welcoming and friendly and regulars are good people, children and dogs are most welcome too. Live music at weekends, the pub is about to be refurbished at some point in the near future hopefully will not be turned into a "trendy bar". P. S. There is no food on sale. Just a recap (29/11/22) brook is back fresh and clean and still a pub , happy days

This is a local pub. No airs and graces. A local pub for local people. (Not quite Royston Vasey style).
If you don't use these pubs, they will die. And you'll be left with whatever the big breweries and "pub-cos" decide to honour you with.

Proper local pub. Great drink selection. Always busy especially at weekends. Very friendly and attracts clientele of all ages. Gents toilets urgently requires an overhaul as not very pleasant at all.
