Edenn Tower is a cooperative housing society located in Wakad. It is probably the first society to have multi-story buildings. It has 8 buildings A1, A2, B3, B4, C1, C2, C3, C4 with total 208 flats. The society is run by elected management committee with it's Chairman and Secretary taking leadership roles. About 80 flats are occupied by owners themselves. Remaining are occupied by tenants which includes family tenants and bachelor tenants. The society has one major problem and that is short supply of water from local Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC). PCMC supplies only around 60 liters of water per person per day.Therefore management committee is forced to buy tankers. The tanker expenses are close to Rs. 1.2 lakh per month for the full society. Inspite of various efforts and requests to PCMC the water situation has been grim for the last 6-7 years. This is impacting the economic condition of society very badly. Most of the owners are middle class people and can not afford such high price for water. Since the society was constructed about 12 years ago it does not have water recycling plant. There is no system of metering water consumption for each flat. This results in improper use of water by residents- the water is supplied 4 hours in the morning and 4 hours in the evening. However bachelor tenants have habit of leaving taps open which results in loss of previous water. Leaving this major problem of water people are peaceful generally and come together to celebrate various festivals like Ganapati Festival, Holi, Women's Day, Christmas etc. Society has a medium size club house where variety of classes like dance class etc are organized on regular basis. Cultural programs are also organized. On the whole it can be rated 4*.
