Avenue

It’s one of the favourite restaurants for which I can't even count how many times I had been there. This restaurant does provide a valet parking facility, sometimes they may ask you to park the car in their basement by yourself. The ambiance of the hotel is good. It has two seating sections, inside is AC restaurant & outside is an open seating. This restaurant serves North Indian, South Indian & Chinese dishes. In Soups, I had tasted Veg Macnchow Soup, Veg Talumin Soup, Hot & Sour Veg Soup. All of them are good, but my all-time favourite is Hot & Sour Veg Soup. My favourite starters from North Indian cuisine are Mix Veg Platter, Veg Seekh Kabab, Makai Tikki & Hara Bara Kabab. Mix Veg Platter is a big one & a filler, it can serve 4 people easily. In Chinese starters, my favourites are Veg Gold Finger, Paneer Chilly, Golden Fried Babycorn, Crispy Veg & Veg Hot Pan. Veg Hot Pan is amazingly good. I would also recommend Cheese Chilly Toast, it’s really very good in taste! In main course, Avenue Special Veg is a good choice. This dish comes in 2 gravy i.e. Red & Green gravy and sufficient for 3 people. Since it’s their special dish, it’s really good in taste. Tandoori Roti & Garlic Nan is also good, they are soft and not chewy. In rice option, I have always preferred Dal Khichadi. It’s yummy and I can say that it’s one of their signature dishes. In dessert you can go for Cheese Cherry Pineapple which is served with lots of ice on the plate. The combination of Cheese, Cheery & Pineapple goes quite well. About food, I had tasted most of their Veg food and all of them have a good flavour! About the staff, they are OK! Overall, if you are looking for a good restaurant in F.C. Road & Shivajinagar area, then you can definitely think about it. Cost wise, it’s reasonable and they do not levy unwanted charges!
