Darshan Restaurant on Prabhat Road is an iconic eating place that actually has made vegetarian food cool and popular. It's stood the test of time and serves quality veg food at reasonable rates. We ordered the Darshan Snack Dish, a veritable mix of tasty sandwiches, cutlets etc. Next on the list, the Classic Sizzler was very wholesome, a complete treat to the taste buds. Baked Beans on Toast was sure a surprise in the unique way it was served. Chole Bhature were delicious and filling, full value for money. Rounded off the meal with Good Night Dessert, a very tasty ice cream and milk combination that was a worthwhile end to the session. A place to visit for good food, neat ambience, expansive seating area downstairs and up and timely service too.

Restaurant offered a delightful dining experience. The ambience was calming, with a touch of rustic charm. Dahi vada was a burst of flavors – soft lentil dumplings in yogurt with zesty chutneys it was my favourite must try. Darshan snack dish combines with vegetable club sandwich which was a medley of fresh veggies, crisp and satisfying also comes with a cutlet, a patty and French fries. Chole bhature showcased authentic spices, a hearty delight. The sizzler was a sizzling sensation – a symphony of grilled veggies and savory sauces. The dessert we tried was Good Night is a total knockout and it’s loaded with richness of flavours of badam, anjeer and comes with kesar pista ice cream. Overall, the restaurant excelled in taste, presentation, and ambiance, making it a haven for vegetarians enthusiasts.

Darshan is a great place for a quick catch up with your friends! Although it usually has waiting ques due to its popularity , you will manage to get a place for dining in 10-15 mins. I personally loved their sizzler and the service was so so quick! They served the food within 20 minutes. Staff is very polite.

The restaurant offers a good ambience where you will feel enlightened after entering the premises. The fragrance of the place , the lights especially at night is the cherry over the cake. Talking about the service , the staff are very cooperative and serves their customers . The quality of food is something which will always pull me towards the place as compared to other restaurants in the area. You will have a good time eating and relaxing simultaneously. The price is a little high but that easily encompasses over the quality which is offered here. Must visit.
