I had the chicken dinner, which is available on Sundays; my dining companions had the rag pudding and chicken pie. Both said their food was amazing, as was mine. The roast potatoes are to die for. Very friendly service, too.
Wonderful scenery. I tried a locally brewed lager which was nice. I love the little touches like using horseshoes to make a bin. We didn't stay for long as we were just passing but would like to visit again and spend longer/try the food
40 years since the last time. My how it's changed, still manages to keep the charming atmosphere of a proper pub, missed so much these days. Food excellent. Staff so kind and thoughtful. Thank you

Came here yesterday nice pub in Nice area, good parking and big beer garden with small kids play area. Service was slow at the bar only one person serving and people dogs walking round your ankles while waiting to be served. Drinks are …
Lovely team, very busy and bustling atmosphere, and they still delivered efficient, friendly, and professional service. Great doggy menu and delicious sunday lunch. Super dog friendly place, we will be back!
