This place is excellent! The food is lovely and the place has a warm welcoming feel. I went for the traditional red cullin steak and ale casserole and it was very tasty and filling. We also had a pollo rosso pizza which was great too. While we were there they had to turn back plenty of people as they were full but there are some seats at the bar so worth waiting if you have the time. I will definitely be back!

Came here for dinner with my other half, great restaurant and the food was lovely, would definitely come back. Only small point to make was that we were sat next to a family with two really noisy young children who wouldn’t behave which did bother us a bit while we trying to have a meal but was obviously not the fault of the restaurant.

We found this place while wandering around the city. It was around 7pm when we arrived. We were told that there's a queue for about 45 minutes. So, we waited for our table while enjoying our drinks at the bar. 🥃 I was planning to get their marinated grilled salmon that was recommended, but apparently it's already sold out, so I decided to have a mixed seafood curry instead, which was surprisingly soooooo goooooddddd. 🤤 My bf had the today's special mussels that apparently the whole full big bowl of mussels with super yummy creamy white wine sauce and onions. 😍 We were such a super happy and full tummy customers! We're not the only ones who left that restaurant with super happy face. I can see the other customers also looked very happy! It's not a surprise, because the restaurant serves such amazing food with good prices and super friendly staffs! 😄 They also have numbers of desserts too. The Bailey's cheese cake looked amazing, but I don't have any more space left in my tummy for dessert! Maybe next time. 😅

Get there early (when they open) if you want a quick seat, otherwise you'll have to wait. They don't take reservations here. It fills up fast, as they only have a small upstairs area. It's worth the wait though. Everyone is friendly and the food is exceptional. The menu may be a bit short, but there's likely something to help your appetite. The seafood curry was delicious and portions were generous. They have a very small beer list, which I was hoping would have more variety and craft choices. Overall, definitely recommend for anyone visiting Portree or the surrounding areas.

Fantastic little restaurant! We really enjoyed everything - appetizers, entrees, dessert, and drinks! We happened to get there early enough to get a table without a reservation (I think I actually heard them say they don't take reservations for 2?) but when we left there was a long line waiting for tables.

A nice little restaurant! We came here for dinner without prior reservation and close to the closing time of the kitchen but were still given a table after waiting for a few minutes. The food was excellent and the local ales from the Isle of Skye were just as good. The restaurant has a casual and modern atmosphere. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Absolutely recommendable! Next time we will book a table in advance just to be sure.
