Curated selection of amazing beers. James is the best, chats with you if you want to and let's you be if that's your style. But it's worth chatting with him he's awesome. Great clientele and a rock and roll atmosphere. My go to spot to have a tasty drink.

You can't go to Rock N Roo and not have a good time. This is a fantastic neighborhood taproom. They always have good beer on tap. It's one of my all time favorite places to hang out.

The exterior may be nondescript, but inside you'll find an owner / bartender who has created about as pure of a neighborhood bar as you could get. The patrons are friendly, and the beer on tap has been meticulously selected by someone who genuinely cares about providing you with a good experience.

Favorite bar in st Johns and Portland in general. Truly a genuine , relaxed bar to go to and have a selection of only the best beers. James , the owner, tends bar all the time and has great conversation and is always great to see after I'm finished with work . Great music , great bartender, great beer, cozy atmosphere . What else do you want?

Absolute best place if you are looking for a laid back, super clean higher class taproom in ST Johns. While all the other bars are divey in the north, The Roo sets it's bar way higher than the rest. Must visit!
