Nothing spectacular on this visit, our waiter appeared to be relatively new, but very helpful. The only downside was getting our appetizers 15 seconds before the entre. I'm sure that's a multiple kitchen management issue.

The food was deemed great by the 9 people in our group; the assortment of beers was amazing. The 3 desserts we shared were very good. Our server was outstanding. A delightful dinner!

This place is amazingly unique. I love how you can hear yourself think -- unlike so many eateries today where noise bounces off hard surfaces and exposed pipes and ducts until you are prit-near bonkers.

One of the best McMenamins. The grounds are magical, you can get lost exploring. So many things to do and see. It's beautiful. The food/bev is McMenamins.. pricey and ok. Service is almost always friendly and attentive. The hotel is great, the pool is great.

Loved the ambiance of this restaurant. The different lights and wall fixtures make this very entertaining. The food was great. The Cascadia scramble with bacon was super tasty.

The cheeseburger didn't come with any condiments. I had to ask for them. I'm not sure if that is normal or was just a fluke. We ordered 3 appetizers and they were all really salty 😔 Our waiter was nice and professional but must've been swamped with other tables because service was slow. The atmosphere is great. Neat place to eat. I also wish their menu was a little less "pompous" or "progressive" theres nothing wrong with having good traditional food. All the pickled this and beer/wine sauce that makes every dish taste the same. Also... stupid expensive. I bought the cheeseburger with no condiments for close to $20.

Great local spot for a meal/ meet up while exploring Portland. Service was slower than other McMenamins locations we’ve visited but still okay. Brunch menu has something for everyone. Would recommend at least one visit.

Ashby was an awesome server! Very responsive even though the restaurant was really busy! He was great!
Food was perfect. The greens were very fresh, and my chicken sandwich was really tasty! Great place for large groups!
Update, I came back with my husband for a date night. It was lovely! He liked the flight of beers and was pleasantly surprised to see you were surprised I have 4 stouts on tap!
