Five Guys

I came here this evening with my mother and nephew to eat dinner. The food that we got was delicious. The service that we received was great. The atmosphere was great. It was a bit messy because Five Guys was a bit busy due to Juneteenth celebration and Taylor Swift concert in the Downtown/North Shore area. But, I know that the staff maintains this location when it comes down to cleanliness.

Work expensed a full lunch for those of us in the office, and so we all got Five Guys for free! I usually find I prefer their fries over the burgers, but both tend to be very good. And the orders were proof of that! The only strong negative is one of my coworkers was missing their Cajun fries, which is a hassle, but it happens. Prices were high, but the food still tasty, fresh, and hot. My large fry cup was filled to the top, and we had plenty of bag fries. All on all, I think I can say this is a good stop for anyone hankering for Fivd Guys, which for me means really addicting fries.

The only reason I’m rating a 4 and not 5 is because it is expensive BUT what I’m really here for is to comment on the service. The service here is exceptional and 5 stars. I was very hungry and had to get something quick to eat and it was light up night which made the whole block extremely busy and McDonald’s even closed really early so I went to five guys which was very busy too of course and waited in the line backed up to the door which went fast and then ordered my food. Not even 5 minutes later did they already have my food out ready to go when it looked as if it would’ve been a nearly 15-20 minute wait. I was happy because I made it back to work on time. Also aside from being speedy, they had the food still fresh and their service itself was friendly. This is not the first time I’ve gone in and they were efficient but today I really just had to come and take time to leave a review cause this is what happens when you are staffed AND trained well!! 👏🏽👏🏽
