My fiancé and I typically eat at Everest Kitchen once a month or so. Brentwood has many excellent options for Nepalese cuisine, but this spot is, by far, our favorite. Most often, we order takeout, but we have dined in, and the atmosphere, ambiance, and decor is spectacular. Perfect example of a small restaurant doing the absolute best with what they have. When you're sitting down, it's easy to forget that you're inside of a strip plaza on the side of 51. The staff is very friendly, and often offers assistance if you have any questions about the menu or are unfamiliar w/ Nepalese food in general. On a slower traffic evening, one of the younger gentlemen spent a significant amount of time describing some of the dishes I'm yet to try as well as discussing their spectacular music playlist with me. It was great to learn a bit more about the origins and culture of some of our neighbors. Although, we've been trying to explore the menu a bit more recently, we've had Tikka Misala and Chili Momo from nearly all of the Nepalese restaurants in the area, and Everest Kitchen is second to none. 10/10 recommend.

Really delicious Nepalese food and everyone working there was very friendly. I’ll definitely go again the next day I’m in the area. I especially loved the pork sekuwa.

This restaurant in Pittsburgh is a true Nepali gem, offering exceptional momos, thupka, pork sekuwa, and more. Their service is top-notch, and the Nepali Thali is a hearty treat. The traditional folk music adds to the ambiance. Just remember, they might not answer the phone or take big orders after 8 pm, even though they close at 9 pm. Always double-check Google Maps for closures. Whether you're Nepali or not, this spot is a must-visit for an authentic taste of Nepal!

I’ve been visiting Pittsburgh for almost 20 years now. Just visited this place for the first time and it’s legit my favorite place in Pittsburgh now. Will be coming here every visit from now on. I got the veg thupka and husband got the pork sekuwa. Both excellent. Asked for very little spice and it was quite spicy and we loved it. Take caution with the spice

We are coming second time all the way from Chicago to have this authentic Nepalese food! We tried various Nepalese restaurants before but this is handsdown the best Nepalese food we ever had. We have been to Nepal before so we can say that they make really authentic food. Till now we have tried their veg thali, steamed veg Momos, Thupka, Veg curry and Nepalese Chai. All of these were really tasty. Can't wait to visit again.

Must-go place. Phenomenal traditional cuisine with a fabulous lunch & dinner special. One of the authentic Nepali restaurants in Pittsburgh. Seriously, if you love Nepali/Indian/Tibetan food, this is the place to go. Great customer service with friendly staffs, and owner. Variety of options on the menu with various spice level offerings based on your requirements. Momos are highlights for this place. Overall a fantastic place to try a different style of cooking with friends, families and co-workers!

The food is excellent. Chicken Sedeko is an intensely flavorful dried meat dish unlike anything I've had elsewhere. We had no trouble finding dishes for the diabetics and for the dairy allergy. Be aware that for large parties they bring out the dishes as they finish preparing them. This makes all the dishes super fresh, but don't expect to finish all at the same time.
