Monterey Pub

The food and service are good, and the atmosphere is friendly and comfortable. Parking can be a bit of a hassel, so I would advise getting there early for lunch. Happy hour is a hit there, and locals will pack the place fast. It is a nice place to get lunch or dinner and have a few beers or cocktails.

So nice we had to stop by twice! We were staying in the area and came in for a quick pint. The servers were very nice and service was quick. They were playing really good psych rock music too. We had such a positive experience we came back for dinner that night and were not disappointed! My boyfriend was extremely pleased with the fish and chips. Fast and friendly service, good food, great atmosphere. What more could you ask for?

I took off a star only because it’s painfully loud inside. Otherwise, we were lucky enough to get a table immediately in this hella busy Mexican War Streets pub. Took a few minutes to have orders taken but once that happened, both drinks & food arrived quickly. Our server, Frankie, was friendly & came to check on us several times despite how busy she was. Partner’s smash burger was “the best he ever had” & side salad was fresh and delicious as well. My Shepard’s pie was quite good but a tad too salty. Happy we walked over to check it out.

Great little neighborhood bar. Nice drink selection and the food was tasty. Service was friendly and fast. We got there just around the dinner rush, it can get pretty crowded, we got the last window seat before nothing was available. Nice spot to grab food and drink if you're planning a trip to the Mattress Factory or National Aviary. Cant believe we didn't find this place sooner, if you're not looking for a bar and don't see the neon light in the window you can easily miss this spot.
