The Embers

The whole experience was wonderful; their menu is complete with pictures and easy to read. 👏 although I've eaten here several times, it was seamless! Our waitress was extremely thoughtful to bring water (hot, cold & refills), to not rush us & me (while waiting nearly 25 minutes for my guest). The food was cooked 😋 to perfection. I enjoyed chocolate chip pancakes 🥞 with link sausages, and Bob ordered the mushroom omelet, which he thoroughly enjoyed! My bill, including tip, was $31 - reasonable considering I had more to eat at home. Go to Embers & enjoy your experience!

Made a quick stop just out of curiosity. Three chicken strips, which were more like big kids-style nuggets with no dipping sauce, add some flavorless fries and that's $13... with no drink... not even a welcoming smile from either of the two servers. Food was edible but I can't imagine ever going out of my way to make a repeat visit.

Granted, I got a French dip and not BBQ so it's possible the BBQ would be a different story, but I was shocked at how bad my food was here. Not disgusting, just completely bland to the point where I almost just paid and left without eating. They also had two soups on the menu but said they don't offer one anymore and they had beer on the menu and the only options were Corona and Heineken. It was a wildly disappointing visit. I can say that it was clean and the service was very fast, but when it comes to taste I would rather go to any of the fast food joints than to this restaurant.

This place did not have a great breakfast. Ordered the chicken fried steak $17.plus dollars for 6 bites of fried steak and extra loose milk gravy that literally covered my plate. Ruining the crispy hash browns I ordered. They also put two pievces of what looked like someone but off sausage and garnished my plate with two little pieces of it bc there’s also no sausage in the milk gravy. Chicken fried steak was an amazing 6 bites. Needs better gravy, a bigger plate and some common sense not to ruin the crispy hash browns you just spent time cooking. Don’t waste your time eating here. What’s a waste and rip off

Been coming here for 25+ years. From the moment you walk in the smell of BBQ makes you feel at home. The staff is a little cranky at time but the service is always great. I have yet to come in here that it wasn't busy. No frills decor just really great food, at an affordable price, served by hardworking staff that have never disappointed me.
