Taco Mich

The food is good but it sure isn't the best compared to other Mexican Restaurants. I stood at the register for nearly 15 minutes on a slow Wednesday around 2pm until they finally came to place my order but keep in mind they knew i was there even though they chatted in the kitchen also in plain sight. I don't know what took longer.... to place my order or to actually get my order....

Once upon a time, a woman was taking an Uber to the Phoenix Airport after a week long conference. She was talking to the Uber driver about all sorts of things and mentioned that she was planning on eating dinner in the airport as she had quite a while to wait. He thought nothing of it, until they were stuck in traffic for a long time and she got car sick. She got worse and worse and really needed to stop. Soooooo, he said he had a place that they could stop, let her get her bearings again and they could each grab a quick meal. She agreed and Taco Mich was the suggestion. The rest will go down in history as one of the most yummy meals EVER! After a conference full of fancy, small bite/plates, it was so nice to get a full plate full of amazing flavor! Definitely no skimping on the meat and every bite packed a nice punch. The staff was friendly and understanding that I knew absolutely no Spanish. Prices are inexpensive. I got us each a full meal for like $25 including drink. This COULD be 'meh' Mexican, how would I know? I'm as white as a paper towel and generally get my Mexican food from chains in Michigan. Lol. But I don't think it is. The beef tongue was tender and flavorful and every bite made me want to overeat! The cilantro and vegetables were fresh and beautiful! Lastly you need to understand that this is a casual, dive-bar style place. So you don't want to go expecting a full service restaurant...it's an order at the counter and pick a table thing. We talked while we ate and he mentioned that they have live music performers and off the cuff dancing on some nights (push back those tables!), but even if you aren't there on one of those nights, there's Foosball and pool. For those wondering, I did make it to the airport and with a new friend that I ll call up the next time I m in town. And we'll definitely hit up Taco Mich!

I pass by this place all the time and now finally tried it, since it's Wednesday I tried their 95¢ tacos for lunch. I tried the asada beef and pork pastor tacos. Very good flavoring and enjoyed both. I bought 5 of each and to put it in a size equivalent of the tacos, 5-95¢ tacos equals one regular size taco. They're tiny. Probably should have just bought 1 of each taco (beef/pork) since it would have probably cost the same. Good thing I bought 10 and as for a value in price to portion, I won't be stopping by for that again. Might have to stop and get a pizza on the way home tonight?

The Micheladas were excellent, and the food was spectacular! This restaurant has the best specials and the best tacos! We were looking for somewhere to eat lunch yesterday and we passed this restaurant and weren't sure because we had never been there before but we took a chance. Walked in there's Mexican music blaring from a jukebox, which is a great atmosphere to begin with, and they had a pretty good menu with a lot of varieties. They even had seafood there, which was really good. I had the shrimp tostada, and let me tell you, the shrimp was piled high on this tostada! The employee behind the counter was really sweet. The tacos were excellent piled with meat at a great price! We were full when we left. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anybody in the area or even just passing by. It's next to Banner University Medical Center. Well down the street, not next to it but down the street. Definitely stop in and give it a try. Don't judge a book by its cover. Because when you try this food, you'll definitely be back!

We ordered a Piña Colada Strawberry Daiquiri 5 chicken tacos with cilantro and onions - the red hot sauce (only need a lil dab) and the greeen sauce on top with fresh lemon squeezed 😋 can’t go wrong at all surprisingly the pina colada cooled down the red spice aftermath 😆 Annnd as you guys can see it was super good I almost forgot to save some tacos so I can snap this pic to show you guys!! I definitely would recommend going to this particular location simply because it was fast and courteous service and you can’t go wrong with that! Because we went on Cinco De Mayo the drinks were specials @ $5 Each drink Tacos was $9.99. Also other locations have specials on the tacos mondays Tuesdays and Wednesdays tacos are $.99 I’m not sure if this location have the same specials
