Sky Lounge

Well interesting place. I like the downtown location with the opening on the upper floor to look outside. I also liked the cheap drink specials $4 Jaeger Bomb that's actually strong is unheard of in Phoenix. The average that I've paid for weak J Bombs is usually $8-$9 The problem with this place is that it's overly Hispanic so if you're not a Hispanic Male/Female you'll more than likely feel out of place. Unfortunately the music upstairs for 21+ on Saturdays is Electronic, Latin, and Pop while the completely underused downstairs 18+ plays the good club music. The downstairs is pretty much used by folks just sitting around (given the lack of alcohol of course for the 18-20) so despite the good music there's no energy on that floor. To be over 21 I'd assume you would feel out of place hanging out down there around the kiddies just to hear the good music. I know I couldn't so I just left! To each their own!

Soooo rude! We came in because of comic con. The food was way over priced!!!!!! The fries was so gross. Dry and no flavor. Took over 30 minutes to get our food and they looked like they got it at Walmart. So small and dry looking. We only got a small cup of water and a small soda and that was it. We had to ask for a fork and napkins. We finally said no and walked out. So bad, a joke!!!!

The Mexican food place on the 1st floor is terrible. Worst margaritas in the entire world. Service was terrible. I had to chase the waitress down twice. It wasn't busy. She had one other table of two. Never brought out silverware. I had to ask twice for napkins. All our food came out sporadically, an order of tacos, burrito, and a quesadilla. All the food tasted like in came off a street venders cart. I seriously looked around outside after we left to see if it did. Bathroom was passably clean. Avoid at all cost.

Laughing to myself because of how the bartender talked so highly about this drink that was on special. Then for me to purchase it and it taste like club soda with blue food coloring as a first impression was a waste of my dime. As a first-time patron I expected something more for my first impression drink. The drink should make me want to buy another drink not make disgruntled and ruin my evening because the first drink was that of a person that failed the bartender's training on the first day. Where is the pride for the brand?

Came here during comicon and even though we were the first two to order our food after the chef came I we were not served right away. About 5 other groups came in after us all got food before us. Not just that but the Margarita was too sweet, food was poorly heated and the wings were cold on ends. Burger was cooked a a medium without being asked. Sampler plate was just as bad. Some were clumped together and not at all good. If I hadn't waited an hour already to eat and starving I would have probably walked out.

I seldom find 1 star ratings to be out of pure spite, but despite half of the place being busy, my friends and I waited half an hour for our food (they literally forgot to serve one of my friends) and just about everything they served us was either overcooked, undercooked or simply missing entirely. On top of that, the waitress gave us serious attitude when we complained and lacked professionalism.
