Saffron Jak

Excellent food. I really need to find the time to come here more frequently. I ordered the half pizza with salad. Got the Greeky pizza that has olives, pepperoncini and feta. The pizza was great, the salad was great, the price and portion size were great. I picked up some bread to take home, I have no doubt it will also be delicious.

Just happened to stumble upon this place today. Wow. Saw the long loaves of their freshly baked flat bread, and they beckoned me to come in. Welcoming staff and a most amazing river stone lined bakers oven. They make the most delicious flat bread. It's a very special recipe and a family tradition. Several different variations, including a chocolate filled loaf, that the owner generously offered a sample to us. Same with their other breads. Delicious. Really authentic. We bought some. Oh, and they make pizza with their dough. We also had a bowl of their freshly made lentil soup. Perfectly spiced, and served at the correct temperature: hot. Just the way I like it. With more of their bread, lightly warmed. We are impressed, and will return. They are vendors at local farmer's markets. Check them out!!!

I have never tried persian food so I was eager to see what it's all about. Came in on my lunch break with my friend and we ordered a chicken bowl. The service was really really good and the guy working explained the menu to us which was really helpful. The plate was a good portion size and the side of cherry tomatoes and veggies was delicious. Place was very clean and comfortable. I will definitely be returning with my husband this time so he can try this amazing food.

I don't normally leave reviews, but this place is too fantastic not to rave about. The atmosphere is lovely, it very much feels like a family place without being kitschy. And I've never had better customer service in my life. I have a hard time branching out of my comfort zone with food, but the manager Sal goes above and beyond in making sure you're informed about how they make the food and that you're going to be happy with what you order. And on that note: the food is RIDICULOUSLY AMAZING (not to mention really well priced). The lentil soup, the hummus, and oh my GOD the chicken. Everything is so fresh and flavorful, I can't wait to show my friends this place. Not to mention the baklava is to DIE for, the last time I had baklava that good was at a little deli in California. Extremely highly recommend Saffron Jak's, if I could give more than five stars I would.

Oh man, let me tell you something about these guys, they know how to make some gooooooood food. My wife and I married last weekend and initially needed a food caterer for our wedding. We didn't want to use a corporation, we wanted local mom and pops food. Long story short, my wife's bosses husband owns this epic business and man I am glad we agreed to have them cater our wedding. Jayson and his staff are awesome. They arrived on time, had an amazing display, had the food ready and fresh for our guests, and cleaned up after themselves. If you're planning an event, please do yourself a favor and check out Saffron Jak. You won't regret it. The dough of the pizza is what all of our guests raved about. Best decision possible that I think we made.
