I was introduced to this restaurant today 😋. I ordered the Pozole. It was a little different that I've tried. It had beans in it. The taste was good. The hominy was a bit under cooked. My daughter had the chilaquiles and said they were really good. The price was affordable. Will be coming back. I forgot to take a pic when I received my food, so I took one halfway into my plate.

Great "ma and pa" restaurant. The place isn't very big, so be prepared to wait a bit. It's usually quite busy. So just be patient. The food is worth the wait.

Beans and rice is taken for granted in most establishments, so it can be easily over looked. This place though made sure that the taste of beans are out of this world! Don’t sleep on this place, a hidden gem for Mexican food

I had a taco combo meal. Great light lunch. Attentive staff an genuine no frills Sonoran comida. Restaurant is tucked away so gotta look for it but well worth it. Cost is fair for what you get.

Wow coming from a Mexican American family whose mom was born in Hermasico, Mexico I have had some great Posole throughout my years but this was extra special! The owner (family-owned) Juanita was very kind, nice and I noticed she remembered everybody’s name as they paid for their food! Her great smile along with the food is why I am I am certainly going to make this my go to place for great Mexican food.

Place is always kept clean. The servers are very polite and friendly. Food is always prepared fast and tastes really good. It is usually packed in the weekends starting Friday dinner time. This Wednesday afternoon was a first for us walking in as the only customers. It was weird without the usual chatter noise over the cumbia and banda music.
For now they only accept cash because the credit card machine is down.

If you crave some authentic Mexican cooking, you can have it at Él Mesquite. Usually go there for breakfast and am never disappointed. Took my girlfriend there (her first time). I was surprised that she liked the hot sauce served with the chips. She didn't mind the spiciness at all. She especially loved the flour tortillas. She even wanted to buy some to take home. Be aware, they can be quite busy at times and seating is limited, but it is worth it. It's one of those places that "the locals" know about.

They rearrange this place to allow for social distancing. Although mornings tend to be crowded you don't wait long. Decor hasn't changed in 10 years. Staff is friendly. They wiped the door handles 2 times while I was there. Food is always good. This place has its follower's. Good place for breakfast.
