Jay's Gyros

Jay's gets a bad feeling at first because of the location in proximity to a gas station so it took me a while to try it. I can honestly say it's a hidden gem. The food is way above expectation, reasonable in price, and the portions are large. I would say this is the best Gyros I've had in Phoenix. Highly recommend this place for a good choice for a work lunch or a quick diner. Service is friendly and plenty of seating for a large family

My wife and I had Jays for lunch today. I was going to order online, but I saw that my order would be ready in 9 minutes( I live like 5 minutes away),So I decided to just go in. My wife had the Philly cheese steak sandwich and I had the gyro and fries. It has a real old school friendly feel to it. What day missing Decor is made up in the food. My order was ready in 9 minutes. From the time I placed my order to the time it was placed in bag and in my hand, it was 9 minutes. And they were busy too. My hat's off to the owner, his wife, and his one Kitchen Helper. The three of them run that place like a well-oiled machine.

I had researched surrounding options for a recent business trip to the area and based on the reviews and my love of Greek food, I decided to try this place. WELL DONE ME!!! I enjoyed a very authentic gyro and Greek salad for lunch. My only complaint is they don't do diner and weekends. I would have loved to gone back here multiple days! Also, don't let the humble exterior scar you away. It's not in a fancy area but the food is great! Just off the I-10 hwy, it is a convenient option for lunch.

LOVE THIS PLACE! Really great Greek food! I personally go for Gyros and various types of fries. I have loved everything I have eaten from this place. If you're in the area, give it a try you won't regret it. There hours are mid day to afternoon though so keep that in mind. I believe 10am-4pm but don't quote me on those times. Hit it on your lunch break, or whatever within those times works for you.

Despite the location this Restaurant is extremely clean, and easy to see from the road. The staff of very friendly . This place serves, hands down the best gyros you ever tasted and they are fat. Only $6. They serve a whole menu of other type of Creek food as well. It seems like they just opened a new restaurant in Glendale. If you're down near 48th Street and Broadway you got to stop at Jay's, and try the gyro.
