Novel Ice Cream

Wonderful ice cream here! My daughter got a vanilla ice cream in a waffle cone, I got a honey lavender in a waffle cone, and my wife got a caramel ice cream in a dough melt. We all loved it!! The guy at the cashier was helpful and the tables in front were great to sit under the stars and enjoy our delicious desserts.

Novel is one of my absolute top fav Ice cream shops in the Downtown Phx area-more specifically on the Grand Ave strip❣️This is the perfect spot for an impromptu date night or simply on any occasion when u have a sweet tooth! They change their specialty flavors quite often which keeps the vibe super fresh and exciting. Most remarkably, aside from their delicious scoops and donut melts, is their exceptional customer service. You will always get a quick run down of their menu and made to feel welcome, making you want to come back for more every single time!🍨🍩 I’ve been here many times (both when there’s a line as well as when there’s no line), & I can tell you it’s always worth coming here💯✅The employees always seem very genuine, super friendly and chill!😎🤙🏼 5🌟

This place is kind of hidden away but it's off Grand ave sp it's easy to get to. There's only street parking so you might have to drive a little bit into the neighborhood next to it for a spot (no parking fees though). On the same little courtyard you will see a little tattoo shop and barbershop. This place is known for the cookie monster ice cream in a doughnut. They call the ice cream in a dought "doughnut melt". You pick the ice cream and toppings (see menu pics). I like the cookie monster doughnut melt with oreos. Beware it makes your tongue blue lol. The other flavors are so good too, and the pecan one comes with a mini stroopwaffle. There's a lot of chairs and tables in the courtyard.

Waited in line for 30 minutes for this. Was it worth it? In my opinion, not really but I would come back. The ice cream is good, just overhyped honestly. There's nothing revolutionary about ice cream between a donut but it did taste good. Service was a 10/10, very friendly people. Do keep in mind you have to be in line outside so get ready to sweat.

This place is so cute! The ice cream is delicious and this place is know for their ice cream donut. You get a glazed donut with your choice of ice cream and topping. There is a cute seating area and the line moves fast. The best part about this place is how cheap it is. Way cheaper than other ice cream places like Cold Stone.
