This family owned gem has the best Italian bread and selection in Northeast Philly. Bread is made daily so it's always fresh. And, don't leave without scooping up a slice ot the tomatoe pie.

Best bread in the city. I drive 30 min every time just to get couple of loafs. It’s truly delicious . I’ve tried best European breads in my life and this one is definitely on par with them. Can’t recommend enough. Hope you guys expand your business to include Abington, so I don’t have to drive so far.

I run in for the fresh baked long hoagie rolls. They used to be 2/$1.00 now they are up to 2.$1.20. I bought 2 and left. A new counter lady was there, not the usual lady Ive known for years, Nicoletta.. Good" hard, crusted," rolls..

Know Gino’s for 30 years I am in USA. Bought their bread for the family, then for the business and now for the family again.
Their bread taste amazing and freezes great!
Just made 3 pizzas using focaccia and my ITALIAN boyfriend said - amazing! Make some more!

Hands down one of the best Italian style bakeries on the East Coast. Anyone rating under 5 stars is a liar or fat-fingered their phone ;) I've been eating this bread literally my whole life and I hope that never changes! Their Italian loaves are Bar-none and rolls are everything you want, especially when fresh! Do your mouth a favor, while helping a small, family owned business and give them a try! Also Bread makes a much better gift than flowers ;D

Go for the tomato pie. You have to go early. Once they sell out, that is it. There is no cheese, but you don't need it. On Saturdays you can get a beautiful focaccia slice as well. I like their rolls. They make the perfect sandwich.

This is another local gem that I frequent on a weekly basis for my bread. the rolls are crusty with nice airy pockets. Perfect for making a lighter sandwich but with enough density to handle dipping into sauces and stews.

The best pistachio muffins on the planet but you have to get there early because she does small batches fresh everyday and pistachio runs out first, they also have blueberry and chocolate chip, they are all big with a crusty top...delicious!!!! Any type or size breads that you could need, fresh old world Authentic Italian Bakery

Bought the wheat rolls today and had them with my meatballs for dinner. Fabulous! Roll was strong enough not to become soggy with the sauce yet soft enough to be enjoyed. I will be returning to purchase more and try other items!!!
