Beefsteak Veggies

If you like half cooked veggies and don't mind how much you pay this is a good place to eat. It is very conveniently located in Houston Hall on Penn's campus. But the lines during lunchtime get ridiculously long. Although they do move fairly fast. If you are unfamiliar with their system of putting together a bowl/salad then it is best to stick to something of their menu rather than try to build one yourself because as you stand their and deliberate the line of hungry people behind you seeking to get to class or elsewhere on campus grow pretty restless.

Wow, this was great. This was my first time to Beefsteak, and the veggies were fresh, the options numerous, and the overall result was delicious. I had some red sauce over rice with my custom selection of boiled-on-the-spot veggies. Then, there were tons of fresh veggies and other toppings (like Kimchi, seaweed salad, sesame seeds, etc.). There was also a meat option, but by the time I realized how large my lunch was going to be, there was no need. I will certainly be back.
