Can’t say enough good things about Murphs. I was freaking out trying to get a reservation 2 days before Christmas because my very picky family decided to visit the city last minute. Murphs was so accommodating for 6 of us and the food is always incredible. My whole family loved everything and they got to feel the real Philly vibe! The exact opposite of the overpriced touristy places, murphs is cozy, warm, with huge portions of amazing food for a great price. Even my dad (the hardest person in the world to please) cleaned his plate! Thank you!

Even without considering the prices, the pasta here is the best in Philly. I’ve eaten at all the “in” places and no place touches the variety and flavors here. Not over salted which allows the flavors to shine. The service is fast and perfect for the relaxed environment. Come to eat drink and be merry. Possibly the best restaurant in Philly given the value for the exceptional food and the chill vibe.

We had heard the food here was good and decided to give it a try, and WOW were we blown away! You would never expect a small pub like this to have some of the best fresh made italian food in the city, but the quality of the food really speaks for itself! Definitely try the pasta, and be sure to stau for dessert! Everything was phenomenal from start to finish.

Almost all their entrees are under $20! The food menu at this Italian/Irish restaurant is not only delicious but very affordable. Portions are large and filling, dessert was huge. They do not take reservations and they are cash only, recommend hanging out by the bar to get a seat. As other reviews mention, it is a small space but very worth the wait!

Murph’s is by far my favorite place to eat in fishtown. The pear dish is the best!!! We try to eat here once a week. They always have amazing wine the goes amazing with each dish they have. They will even make butter noddles for my son when we come. The staff is super nice and always remembers my order. The deserts are always on pint. The best time is to go for dinner is EARLY! They get slammed so fast! Definitely worth the wait.

I've been to Murph's a few times, and I've never been disappointed. The menu is small but well-curated, with a focus on fresh, seasonal ingredients. The pasta dishes are my favorite, and the pear and cheese fiocchi is my go-to. The pasta is perfectly cooked, and the sauce is rich and flavorful. The pears add a touch of sweetness, and the cheese makes it all come together. The staff is friendly and attentive, and they really know their stuff.
