Fond

Fond is my favorite restaurant in Philadelphia because they are exceptional in delivering on my top four priorities - cocktails, food, atmosphere and service. Fond's menu is unique, the food is superb and the vibe makes me feel like I am among friends in their home. Each drink and plate of food is treated like an understated masterpiece. Whether I sit at the bar or dine at a table, it does not take long to unwind from my day and enjoy the full experience.

We had a magical experience at Fond From the moment we got to the door we were treated like family. The service was extremely friendly,very, very knowledgeable and fun. I had the best martini of my life with a local vodka called Stateside. My main course of skate wing with a corn risotto was magical. Ed had the pork belly which he loved. Kudos to the brilliant chef and all those that made us have such an enjoyable evening. We cannot wait to return

Beautiful restaurant with beautiful people in a beautiful location. My husband and I had dinner at Fond last night. The service, food and ambiance was fantastic! We ate outside. Guests and staff followed CDC guidelines for PPE and social distancing. Fond offered a prix fixe menu. You could choose a wine pairing with the menu, and/or order something from the full-service bar. I ordered a glass of rose bubbly to start, and then, the wine pairing with dinner. Our server/bartender made two bourbon cocktails for my husband, and he loved them! Our meals were delicious! The seafood, corn chowder was one of the best soups I have ever tasted in my life. The burrata with figs appetizer was wonderful. The short rib and pork belly main courses were cooked to perfection, and perfect meals for the fall weather. Our desserts were the apple tart and chocolate crème brûlée - both excellent! The servers were a delight. It was so nice to chat with our servers, who were professional and personable. Very kind and funny! We loved our experience at Fond, and we plan to go back even if we have to wear our snow gear [outside] to eat.

What an incredible meal we just had! Every dish in the prix fixe menu was delightful. Service was friendly, prompt and professional. I love what they've done with the outdoor seating spaces in this little intersection of passyunk. The home made flat bread is quite possibly the best tasting bread I've ever had. Highly recommended and will return.
