Raj Mahal

Tried the Raj Mahal Yaxley 1st time, please to say enjoyed Quality Indian dishes, lamb & chicken very tender, only let down on this occasion by delays on collection time advised, but this was acknowledged with an apology & gesture, from the Manager. Only been opened couple of weeks, so overall would highly recommend & look forward to visiting again.

I took my parents to the Sunday lunch buffet , a few month ago. over sixty fives pay £5 for food, on Sunday lunch , I believe, which was astounding value , especially in view of the choice and quality of the food . I have spent time in India and enjoy authentic India food which is hard to find in England . In addition as a wheat free vegan my choice can be further limited. When the manger / owner realsedi I had specific requirement he made me something without prompting, inspite of the fact that the standard Buffett met my requirement and sadly I was nearly full. Much to my delight I was brought a south India puri , which I have not had or been able to find, since I was last in this region, of India,around twenty three years ago, it was delicious . i was warned prior to going that the restaurant has had poor grading for hygiene ,in the past , I did not see any evidence of poor hygiene. The disable toilet was a little tierd but nothing that a coat of paint to the skirting boards wouldn’t fix. My parents have returned many times since and have always been Really happy with their experience , which has always included lovely authenitic South Indian food and attentive compassionate service, that goes above and beyond. I would highly recommend Bombay tiger and if I lived locally , I would be a regular especially on Sundays as the value and choice for meat and plant based eaters, the buffet menu provides is awesome , well done and thank you !

I used Bollywood tiger to cater for a family get together of 30 people before my wedding at the end of May 2018. to say the service was amazing is an understatement. The team come out to my venue and set up all the hot plates, they also provided plates and cutlery for us which was brilliant! The food ! WOW the food. Quality is brilliant and by far the best quality Indian food in Cambridgeshire. I really could not speak higher of the team at Bollywood. The staff are really nice, friendly people and you can really tell they take care in what they do. thanks guy! until next time.

ALWAYS make sure their online delivery is up and running, it turns out when maintenance is ran they will take the payment but not give the order to the restaurant! once i got the food it was very nice, maybe not the cheapest... but it was good and i definitely enjoyed it! it's mostly a restaurant so you're basically getting restaurant quality food i guess? so when you think about it like that, it is probably quite fair
