Hopper Espresso

Visited 3 times 1st and 2nd Visit – Both times take away flat-white 3rd Visit - sit-down breakfast as follows: Ordered: 1 big breakfast & 1 Flat White Costs: A$26.00 Number of people: 1 Location: QV1 Building, Perth CBD, Hay Street Coffee: the beans is from Humblebee coffee roasters and the coffee taste is nice with a very subtle bitterness and chocolate undertone. Service: If you order a coffee here be prepared to wait. First visit it was quite packed and I waited circa. 20 mins to get my takeaway coffee. The second visit was quite late in the day and I was the only one who ordered a take-away and still had to wait 10 mins even though the restaurant was not busy and they had 3 or 4 people behind the counter. Food: Third visit I had the Big Breakfast which was cooked very well, however, I am hoping the hash-brown and baked beans was home-made and not ones you can get from a packet or a can.

Cant beat a great $6 mushroom Toasty. Well priced, tasty and quick. Coffee was awesome. One of the better ones in Perth in my opinion. Had the single origins from Brazil. Chocolate tones, naturally sweet. Soft finish and full flavour. Barrister was engaging, good to see them chatting with the customer's instead of just pumping coffees. A+ . I will be back.

Popped in here as part of my Perth espresso hunt after recently moving here. Had a pulled beef and slaw sandwich with a cold drip. Both were great! The coffee was fantastic a day I'll definitely be back. Also grabbed a 1/2kg of their house blend. Super-friendly service and a nice and comfy place to sit down and have a relaxing bite.

Love the coffee and the friendliness of the staff. I wish they did lactose free milk but the soy is also not a bad choice and I don't feel like I can penalise Hoppers for that. The coffee is lovely, right temperature and taste and is consistant every time. I liked the coffee so much that I bought the coffee beans back to Brisbane!
