If I could give this place a minus review it would 100% get one. We visited Theodore's Cafe for breakfast a bit further up High St today after deciding that this place is horrible...My husband & I walked in looking for a menu....there was a staff member making coffee as we walked in, she looked up with a very unfriendly look on her face. It made us feel completely unwelcome. We stood there a moment looking at the menu board inside to be greeted by another female staff member with an abrasive 'are you eating here or taking away'...we didn't quite respond straight away so she gave us a filthy look & walked off. Rude! We walked straight out.<br/><br/>Couldn't care less if the food & coffee is described as great by others, the customer service was rude & disgusting! I wonder how much business this place loses on a daily basis with its disgusting customer service!

This place is extremely overpriced, so expensive for very average food. Average owners. Rubbish staff, really rude. Seriously go elsewhere, waste of time.

Awesome hot, strong coffee & delicious food - try the blueberry oats, nice, relaxed atmosphere and modern decor. Lovely attentive, friendly staff!

I video sited Cafe Fred for the first time today after friends had told me that they make awesome coffee. How right they were. I also loved the menu, very modern and affordable. The decor is very nice and relaxing. Last but not least are the staff, excellent very pleasant service. I'll definitely be going back again.

Solid coffee. I looked at the toasties on the menu board and considered getting a takeaway option but just went with the skim latte. Smooth texture. Nice flavour.

$5 for a side of avocado. Are you kidding? I could buy an entire avocado for that. Walked in to try this place and left after looking at the menu.

Great customer service and because it is a small place it is very personalised. I've loved the coffee and the peanut butter Jaffa :) super nice. Definitely going back there again...

Really like this cafe. The ingredients are very fresh and in proportion. The coffee was great and spot on. And the protein ball was to die for. This place is Small but Mighty!!! Great place to have a catch and have a healthy meal all at the same time :)

Brilliant and Awesome. I have been going to this cafe since it opened and it has the best coffee I have ever tasted. I am a big coffee snob and find it hard to find good coffee around Penrith. <br/>The staff are very friendly and will go out of their way to please customers who are reasonable. <br/>The food and coffee and very reasonably priced. <br/>The crumpets are my favourite dish and are made from scratch with home made caramel sauce!<br/><br/>Can't be missed
