Food was amazing. I particularly loved the volcano roll. If you like mildly spicy, fried things you'll love it too. Red dragon roll was much better than expected. The eel tasted super fresh. Never had eel that good before. Wings were a great app. Didn't need to add any extra sauce to them. Fried crunchy and had great flavor. Crab wontons were nice and crispy on the outside and inside was gooey and wonderful. Hit this place randomly because where we wanted to go was closed and no one left disappointed.

Got here 30mins after they opened so the place was pretty much empty, despite this the food took a long time to arrive. My wife went into the restroom and found it to be dirty with a toilet plunger laying on the sink. She got sick the next day and we definitely will not be coming back. The food tasted "ok" and the server was nice.

Amazing service and food ! It's delicious ! 😊☀️❤️ vegetable tempura and crab 🦀 wontons are a good appetizers 😊❤️☀️💕🌺 I highly recommend this place .

Best Happy Hour Menu!!! Best appetizer, Spicy Tuna and has the best presentation, served in a martini glass. The sushi here is amazing, so much that I could just list them all for a favorite. I love the Eel Fried Rice, and of course the Pad Thai is never disappointing. This place has excellent customer service. I absolutely love Wolcano!

Love the place love the decor the original Wokcano😉 I have been to two other locations in Burbank and in Santa Clarita and I rather go to the old Pasadena😊 the food is outstanding in the one in old Pasadena and the seasoning is Japanese then the other newer restaurants more authentic. And we ordered the fried calamari that was not on the menu and they made it special for us it was yummy Licious

Admittedly I have never had the food at Wokanos, but did hang out late night one night. It was a cool vibe with a fun crowd and a good selection of beers and liquors.
Also, a benefit for Pasadena residents: The restaurant stays open long after last call. You can't order alcohol (obviously), but can grab the food until late in the evening. Definitely the only place in Pasadena you can grab sushi at 330 in the morning!
Overall, a good vibe, and fun place to hang out on a weekend night.

Terrible service and food. I went with a friend of mine and took them forever to bring our food, we had to asked for our order after a good minute waiting. They forgot one order and never came back for refills. Not to mention that the food was not worth the price, I prefer to wait at sushi stop where the food is good, cheap and great service.

Open late. Staff was very nice and helpful. We ordered a roll that was off the menu and orange chicken. The roll was good, and the chicken had too much sauce. The flavor was very good.
