Ihop

I was really pleased with how IHOP has their set-up during these days of covid-19. I felt very safe as the tables are spaced a safe distance from each other. The servers have all the proper equipment and of course everyone is responsible for their own safety to a certain degree. The only downer was that we were ignored for quite awhile by a server wearing blue. But a Server wearing red came and hooked us up and was great. And we are great tippers so, yeah. Anyway aside from that tiny hiccup it was a nice Sunday morning brunch.

Ordered online for a curbside pick up. Instructions after paying for what i had in my cart were that my order would be ready at 10:46 AM. I arrived at 10:52 AM Parked in the designated area called in to advise that I was in space #1 for curbside pick up. "They said thank you I'll be right out." 11:15 AM still waiting, 11:25 AM. Finally I go inside and no acknowledgement after a few minutes I finally had to address one of the workers that are just standing around or just walking around. I noticed a bagged order sitting off to the side. On a table finally I'm approached, I tell them I've been waiting for over 30 minutes for my order. They said "well sir you have let us know you have arrived." I said I did and gave space # I was in. No comment from them gave my info and sure enough that order on the table getting cold was my order. I never planned on having a steaming hot breakfast. But I also didn't ask for cold soggy breakfast either. So disappointed really don't know if I will ever return.......

I don't write a lot of one stars but here we go. So firstly me and my girlfriend arrived there, we were seated and the waiter asked what we would like to drink, my girlfriend said 2 coffees, and I said 2 waters. So she comes back with one coffee and one water. It took awhile but finally we were able to order our food. My girlfriend got the strawberry banana french toast, and I got the Monti Cristo turkey and ham crepe. It was kind of busy, since it was about 10am or so, so it did take a good amount of time to get our food. Finally our food arrived, and we asked for another mug for coffee, the waiter gave us a "whatever" look on her face. The food was served room temp, didn't take a single bite of hot food. The food was made well, my crepe should've had a lot more cheese, but if the waiter didn't let our food sit so long then probably I would've enjoyed it. Probably am done with that IHOP after this.
