Grand Central

I enjoyed my dining experience at Grand Central (GC). The restaurant/ cafe has a very nice vibe: they offer indoor and outdoor seating, is extremely well decorated and clean, with a good number of tables to be able to serve a lot of customers at the same time. We visited GC for Brunch at about 10AM on the Saturday after Thanksgiving. We were promptly greeted by the host upon entry and taken to our table. The server was great: she came promptly to take our food and drink orders and helped answer a few questions we had about the items on the menu. We ordered the following: Goat Cheese Salad: Best item of the day - fresh ingredients, good balance of flavors and well presented. Chilaquiles: Meh. Fresh ingredients, but underseasoned. Quinoa Skillet: More of a Spinach skillet as opposed to a Quinoa Skillet. Too much spinach made this dish super soggy. Palm Sugar Waffles: Excellent texture and flavor. Buttermilk Pancakes: Nice. Cafe Latte & Mocha: On point.

Delicious food in a beautiful atmosphere and location! There's an awesome mural on the wall. I ordered the yogurt parfait with house-made granola with coconut flakes and bee pollen. It was so amazing. The perfect touch of sweetness without being overbearing. Italian roast coffee. I don't like Columbian or French Roast. I love this place!

A charming, relaxed restaurant in an interesting old building that was originally a department store. The food is generous portions, fresh ingredients and delicious. The toasted chicken sandwich was one of my favourites. The restaurant features an art gallery and options to sit outside in the shade of the porch. The staff are genuinely friendly and welcoming, this was my favourite restaurant in Palm Springs.

Loved this place, so delicious! Might be our new fav place to eat in Palm Springs. Everything we ordered was so good. The chilaquiles & the Chicken Milanese sandwich with homemade potato chips were so good. The crusted goat cheese salad is the best salad I've ever eaten, it had yummy yellow beets, a mint vinaigrette, fresh grapefruit, mandarins...yummmmm.😍 I ordered the Sangria and that didn't disappoint either.🍹 Our Server 'DK' was awesome too. So helpful, super friendly. Excellent service! We can't wait to go back soon again!

I stopped here a week ago on my way to Arizona with my young toddler and my dog. I was traveling alone and stressed, and the staff and owner at Grand Central could not have been more lovely, helpful, and kind. They helped get us seated, kept an eye on my small dog when I took my son to the bathroom, and engaged in the most lovely conversation ! To top it off I had what could possibly be the best french toast I've ever had. The atmosphere and the service were just top notch. Our breakfast here was honestly the highlight of my entire day, and I can't wait to come back when we spend a weekend in Palm Springs.

This place has been here for 5 yrs and I didn't even know it. They have a beautiful art display room with paintings from local artists. Oh, and BTW, way, the food is delicious, and you can order a flight of mimosas. The setup of the restaurant and the service was top-notch. It's also in the dead center of downtown Palm Springs. FREE PARKING lot for only 2 hours if you can get there early, and it's only a 5 min walk to the Marilyn Monroe statue

Great food and atmosphere, super delicious varieties of dishes. Excellent Sunday brunch. The palm sugar waffles were very tasty and presented very nicely. My favorite was the grand central burger, an 8oz Australian wagyu beef, with spicy aioli sauce ,arugulas, tomatoes, onion, on a brioche buns. Also the goat cheese salad which has yellow and red beets, orange and grapefruit so good. This is a place I would highly recommend!

Grand Central is delicious and absolutely so cute inside! Absolutely love the book vibe and art gallery. So much to see in here. Have to say, I hate their chairs though! Please GC, order new chairs, they are uncomfortable. I know theyve received complaints about these before. I ordered the mushroom toast and it was delightful, and I ate every morself of it. It has a poached egg rolled in panko bread crumbs, oh my, malea you wanna smack yo lips its so good! The bloody mary was good, naturally spicy. Service was a bit slow, even though they weren't busy. Even with that, all the staff were so nice. Even with the chair issue, I loved the food so much, it's my new fave breakfast spot in PS.

Service was amazing. All staff members I interacted with were pleasant and professional. The food was delicious, and so were the drinks! It was busy when I went, so we waited a while for the food to come out. It was a reasonable wait considering how packed the restaurant was. I enjoyed the vibe as well. The music wasn’t too loud, but the people at the table next to me were pretty loud. They had a larger party, so that’s understandable. If you’re sensitive to loud noises, try to get a seat outside if the restaurant is busy. Overall: 10/10 would recommend. I’ll definitely be back to visit!
