So unless this place is fairly new I must say I’m shocked it only has been reviewed 210 times. A hidden gem inside of this hotel and you leave the place thankful you found it. The ambiance was perfect, the service was as hospitable as one loves it to be and the food was delicious. There is a downstairs indoor and outdoor eating area beside the pool and upstairs you are outdoors on the roof with a fireplace going. Lovely feel top to bottom.

Overall great experience. The food was unique and was 4+ stars...I only give 5star to very best..but you won't be disappointed. It's nice environment can sit by pool and have an excellent dinner and atmosphere. Or upstairs by a large fireplace. Has a unique boutique design. And it's pricey drink $20 oct 2023. Meals like $25-50. But good portion. Salmon was very good.

We started with the truffle fries. I had the chefs pasta (vegan), my wife had the beef tenderloin. The fries were good, the pasta was amazing, my wife said the beef tenderloin was great. Even though the food was amazing the service was the best part, not overbearing at all but very attentive and always making sure everything was perfect. A candle went out and they quickly fixed it even though we didn’t mention or even notice it. The ambiance was great and the portions were perfect. Not massive like typical American and not small like typical overpriced high end restaurants. If we are in Palm Springs again Azúcar is a must.

We found Azucar on our recent trip to Palm Springs and had an amazing experience. The restaurant is tucked inside La Serena Villas right behind the pool. We had the Roasted Red Pepper Hummus which had a great spread of items to dip in the hummus. The Watermelon Margarita was my favorite drink of the entire trip with the tequila, watermelon puree, and the ground chili rim combining for an extremely unique flavor. I had the Dungeness Crab Stuffed Poblano Pepper which was packed with flavor. Overall, a fantastic experience in a unique atmosphere.

Luxurious and calm restaurant/hotel. Upscale and intimate. The watermelon margarita is very refreshing. The guacamole, salsa and corns chips were very delicious and refreshing for the Palm Springs heat. The chefs penne pesto pasta was absolutely mouthwatering. The feta cheese on top made it perfect. The cauliflower pesto risotto was a sheer delight. So flavorful. You'll want more. The surf and turf was delicious.
