Disappointment and frustration are the two emotions that come to mind following this meal...but I'll settle for disappointment 😞.
To be fair, I will preface this review by acknowledging that Covid-19 has likely impacted Rib Crib franchises with both staff shortages and product unavailability. That said, this was hands down the worst meal I have ever eaten at this restaurant chain.
Plus - the cole slaw, onion rings, seasoned fries, and hot links were fine. Our server was top notch...quick, attentive, and efficient.
Negative - nearly everything else. The chicken breast was dry and flavorless. The St. Louis style ribs were terrible...no dry rub flavor whatsoever, and either so small they were hardly worth eating or so fatty they were in fact not edible. The photos will bear witness to this claim. And lastly, why are staff encouraged to fill beverage glasses 3/4 full of ice (in the winter)??? I'm just going to make my server bring me 10 glasses of whatever I am drinking...
My brothers and I have eaten at RC countless times (primarily in Derby, KS) and we never had a meal this dismal. There seems to be no quality control at this restaurant. That needs to be addressed quickly or you will continue to disenfranchise more customers.
In case you are curious, the aforementioned frustration is the result of bypassing several other restaurants because we wanted to celebrate today with a "good rib dinner ".
The real winner tonight...Barney beagle. He thought the ribs were great.

Wow. We went through the drive thru here and ordered two sandwiches-a bbq turkey and a bbq chicken. When we got our food it looked like the person packaging it had been eating ribs and forgot to wipe their hands! BBQ sauce and grease all over the outside of the containers and the sandwich wrapping. Our hands were covered before we even got to the sandwich. Not good Rib Crib! We are trying to eat in the car. It was soooo messy!! The food was good (although we couldn’t tell the turkey apart from the chicken and they weren’t marked) but we definitely won’t be going through your drive thru again! Just two stars from us since it was way more work trying to keep the car and ourselves clean than was worth the food! The funny thing is…there was no bbq sauce on the sandwiches. It was in little plastic containers for us to put on ourselves and those were clean.
UPDATE: after receiving a response from RIbCrib asking for more info, I emailed as requested and have heard nothing back after a month. This leads me to believe their concern is for outward appearances only.

We stopped by as we didn't have much time and just wanted a quick bite as we say. However, I ordered a half rack if ribs. They were very good and I ended up taking some home. Very pleasant people, great waitress and worth our stop.

Very disappointing. Something is always forgotten and we have to go back. We ordered the super pack on 21 May the three meat and a side of ribs. Called and spoke to the manager and he said he did forget the sliced brisket and would give us a discount under our phone number for the next time we ordered. Fast forward to July 5th we ordered two of the family packs and I spoke with Elijah about getting the spicy and mild sauce and the discount we were told we would get. My husband said there was no discount added to our phone number and when he brought the food home there were no sauces. So we had to send my husband back because you can’t have bbq without the sauce. He asked to speak to the manager and was told he was busy. No, ‘we are sorry’ or ‘how can we make this better’. Very poor customer service and the meat was in small portions. Spending $100 each time tells us they it’s time to find another place to go. Disappointing.

not sure what I just ate but those were not the best ribs. The cook barely had them cooked then sent them out. I should have sent them back. TAKE YOUR TIME TO COOK THE FOOD. They were not busy so this was no excuse to send out barely cooked food. i could here the cook make a comment about giving it the person with the salad.. UHH WHAT!!. WONT BE BACK.

What a complete disappointment. We had guests over and wanted bbq - we recommended our local Rib Crib because we typically love it - everyone is kind, and the food is great.
Tonight however was horrible. We were missing items, extra meat orders were wrong, I actually had bad Cole slaw, bitter and wilted, fries were cold, ribs tasted like they were days old.
I could go on …. This was a horrible experience.
Because of the money we spend and the wait we endure this will be the last time we go to, or recommend Rib Crib in Ozark.

Started with a dirty table , then started to place a order of ribs , then I'm notified they are out of ribs, and no substitute for meals with ribs.
New manager not doing a good. Not sure I'll eat at this Ozark location again.

Great and friendly service. Food came out timely and the waitress continued to check in qith us. Cute little fast food rib joint. On the way in to Branson so a decent location right off the highway. Lot of food for the money... I'll have leftovers tomorrow. They even have a drive thru!
