Delicious. Well worth the visit. I had a Caesar salad, the penne chicken and peppers with red sauce. (Don’t remember the actual name). Also had house red wine. Warm buns served to start. Delicious. I want to go back!

Poor service! We waited over an hour for our food to arrive. I had high expectations for this place and was really disappointed. We even had to get up and chase after them to pay our bill and leave. I could understand if the food was slow because there were so many people but we had a hard time getting them to even fill up our water while we waited. I do have to say that when we finally were able to pay up, our server took off our drink because she thought we waited a bit longer than everyone else. As for food, it was just good. I got the frutti de mare with rose sauce. I liked the amount of seafood and the quality of pasta. The sauce was fine but I wanted to taste the seafood flavour in the sauce, which I couldn’t. I liked the bread they served as an appetizer but it would’ve been nice if it was warm (the butter they served was cold too and not great to spread). My husband got the penne peppers n garlic tomato and really regretted it because it was nothing special and seemed like something we could make better at home. The restaurant very dark and loud - and being put in the corner and waiting so long made it seem like they forgot about us. I won’t be going back and don’t recommend if you want to eat within an hour of getting there.

Follow my food blog on Instagram for restaurant reviews: @mimi.munches! 💖 If you're craving freshly made pasta, traditional comfort food, steak, or even seafood, Mr.B's is an amazing place to visit! There are so many types of pasta you can try, ranging from rigatoni, linguine, fettucine, lasagna, penne, tortellini, raviolio, and mannicotti fiorentina! Smelts: lightly floured & fried with tomato aioli & fresh lemon ($12): fried nicely, not too much batter, and not oily. Tomato aioli was perfect! Spicy pork belly appetizer ($14): Make sure to check their specials on the chalkboard - this was one of the "specials"! The pork was really tender, and it wasn't spicy at all (in my opinion). A great start to the meal. My favourite dish out of everything was the Fettucine with fruitti di mare (clams, crab, scallops, mussels, with large & matane shrimp, $24) - the pasta was perfectly cooked, and really soaked up the delicious seafood sauce. The seafood was very fresh - I couldn't stop eating this! Definitely a must-try if you like seafood. If you don't, you could choose the Alfredo version of the Fettucine with Parmesan Cheese and Cream (you can add chicken for $3)! If you like thinner pasta, the Shrimp & Scallops Napolitana ($26) is also fantastic, sautéed in garlic, white wine, and tomato. The size of the shrimps and scallops was massive! A classic comfort food dish is their Chicken Scallopine Marsala, with sweet wine & sautéed mushrooms - this was a nicely balanced dish, with decadent marsala sauce, mushrooms, capers, veggies, and potatoes. The interiors are gorgeous, and really add to the dine-in experience, which I recommend. There is a lot of space with the lofty ceilings, and cream/muted colours. They also have a nice cocktail list - I tried the lychee love ($12), as I'm a huge fan of lychee, and found it well-made. It goes especially well with fried dishes!

I have to say I was not expecting much given the plaza this is situated but it’s a real gem! The restaurant itself has a lot of character and is clean and fairly large and great for date night or even having an event at! The food is so lovely and home cooked - very tasty, and good ingredients. We had the penne with Italian sausage which was smokey and delicious and simple. The spaghetti bolognese was so tomato-y and tasty too with lots of character. The clam in cream sauce with linguine was good but not my cuppa tea but my wife liked it. Would definitely return and dine in! They only do take away, not delivery if you’re planning on take out.

These people are the nicest most genuine and caring humans I've ever had the pleasure of working with. If you have some decent kitchen experience and a good sense of humor this place just feels like home. I was only there a short time as a cook on the line, I wish I had met them sooner. I've never been this happy in a kitchen since I was 17 years old and brand new, I'm 38 now. I learned so many new things and was paid very fairly to do so. If you were someone I knew that had experience and needed a job, I would tell you to call Mike or Tommy and tell them you're interested in having a chat.

Very dissatisfied… it’s the second time we were there. First time was amazing, but this time food was really bad. The dishes with tomato sauce was discussing:( the tomato’s were canned! The prices are expensive, so you would expect not canned food! From my dish, I tried to eat 2 scallops and left everything else on the plate. I barely touched the food and no one asked why and we paid full price. Tried to scab the tomato sauce from my scallops and swallow it … my stomach is not good at all just of thinking I had to eat it. My spouse dish wasn’t good at all as well. He said that he felt that he was eating canned tomato. Very sad as he was fasting the whole day and and was looking into eating there. We will never be coming again.

Had a large birthday dinner here a few weeks ago. The staff was very accommodating, and the food was great. I everyone was really impressed with the quality of food & service. Given the size of the group we tried a variety of food and was impressed with the menu!

Food was very nice. My wife is Italian so she would know! We had the fried calamari and duck wings as appetizers. Not bad, the calamari were not as crispy as we like them. Duck wings were on the dry side. Pasta was very tasty. I had the Frutti di mare Fetuccini and my wife had the clam Linguine. Nice homemade pasta. Sauces were a little too creamy for my taste. But great overall. Service was friendly, nice waitress was very knowledgeable about the menu. Overall very nice experience! Might go back in the future.
