Another great Oswestry eaterie. Cosy upstairs rooms or outside in the square with very friendly staff. Try their Welsh Rarebit, it's an education.
Dog friendly inside and out.
2023 Edit: the upstairs café is currently closed. There is a small sandwich bar with good coffee open downstairs. The down side of this is that they have had to remove the ice-cream bar to accommodate it.

Visited the gift shop. Excellent range of lovely gifts and cards. I was helped to choose a gift by an extremely friendly and knowledgeable lady yesterday.
Will definitely be back.

A few changes since I last was here and seems a little smaller than before.
It's still a very special local shop and one of only a few where you can get any cards for any occasion in Welsh.

My grandad comes in to your cafe all the time and raves about your Welsh rarebit, and garlic mushrooms on toast, and always goes on about how lovely, and welcoming you are as staff. Especially Elisha and Emily :)

Brilliant place! Dog friendly with Schmackos a plenty! 3 of us had lunch today and we were all very impressed with the quality of the food. There are definitely no vampires in Os tonight as I had the garlic mushrooms, absolutely gorgeous!
And as for the warm banana loaf with maple syrup... Oh my word, poor indulgence!
