7-eleven

I was born and raised in Orange. I remember when this 7 Eleven was built so I have been in there hundreds of times throughout the forty plus years it's been here. Today March 26, 2022 @ 9:41 am my wife and I went in for our usual hot dog breakfast. A brown haired lady with blues streaks was working so of course I told her what we wanted. I thought it was usually $4.12 so I put $5.02 down on the counter. The price was $4.51 which was right so I picked up the 5 and slid a penny off and put it back on the counter.i held my hand out for the change and she put it on the counter and went ballistic on me. She said I had disrespected her so she wasn't going to put the change in my hand. I was caught off guard and tried to explain that I had not disrespected her in any way. I looked around and saw a camera above her and requested to see the manager. . She said she was the assistant manager and again I requested the manager. I wanted the manager to review the camera footage and see I was not deserving of the accusations. She refused my requests and continued to berate me. We got our food and left. I gave the store 4 stars because the two African American ladies we usually deal with are very sweet. This is the first time I have had any problems in any store in Orange. It wasn't fair to the rest to give one star.

I had to make a 5:30 am run for ginger ale for my husband. He has a stomach virus. I was sanitized and masked. I warned the young dark haired lady behind the counter to PLEASE use sanitizer when we were finished. She informed me that it wasn't necessary for because she is from a generation where they're naturally immune because they played outside!?!? WTH

The description of the employee was a white lady in her 40s with brown hair and a little purple in her hair, she was very rude with the words she used towards me and it also seemed like she was trying to tell me how to live my life and made me feel very uncomfortable and I barely said a word the whole altercation cause I was so taken back by her actions and words. I have lived there since 6th grade and went to and graduated high school from orange and frequently went to 7/11 but I can honestly say after this incident I will never be going back to this location.
