Java Perkins Cove

Very friendly staff in a cute, little location. Good selection of coffee drinks, chai, Italian soda, cold pressed coffee. Nothing was overly sweet, which is a nice change from the standard coffee shop fare. They're happy to create something "off menu" if they don't have your favorite listed. The owner helped us pick a good lobster place nearby, giving her honest opinion.

We enjoyed the coffee at Java every day while on our vacation in Perkins Cove. The Maple syrup latte (made with real maple syrup) was a favorite. Yummy. Coffee is smooth, not bitter. It's a tiny place towards the end of the cove. The staff is friendly and helpful. They also have baked goods from a local bakery and a few quick grab items, like yogurt. Highly recommend.

Very nice coffee shop with a pleasant owner. We stopped in after lunch to pick up a cappuccino and herbal tea. Husband said the cappuccino was delicious (considers himself an aficionado - I’d say he is a fair judge) and I loved the hot tea (Capetown Sunset). The owner buys local products such as the White Heron tea- a big plus in my book! Overall, I’d say check it out if you are in the area!

Stopped in with the family for a few latte's, picked up a scone also. Good spot for caffeine and the owner was very pleasant. Will likely be back during our stay, as it was a convenient walk from the hotel and everything was tasty. Not far off of the Marginal Way in Perkins Cove, it's the perfect morning destination to enjoy the sunrise along the coast. Opens at 7 am, so the 6:30 sunrise is the perfect time to set out.
