Carlos Diner

I had family from out of state, we wanted something different from fast food, I didn't even know of Carlo's Diner, but they showed up under Google search. They were close to our house. We decided to give it a try. I have always tried to be the type to support the momma papa places. Wow, were we surprised? The service was fast, and food came out hot and tasty. I love chicken fried chicken in which is is a breaded breast of chicken served with white creamy gravy, similar to a country fried steak but without beef. The dinner or lunch is not a menu item but the server told be anytime I want it or anything else not exactly on the menu, he said they would be more then happy to prepare something as close to it as they can. Now that's great customer service. Most of the time, all you hear is the two letter word, NO

Found this place by chance. The food was great and so was the service. Got the Carlos Combo, which was two eggs, 2 slices of bacon, 2 sausage links and biscuit w gravy. The price was under $9. The place was packed all three days I went there for breakfast when I was in town. Alexandra, my server was really sweet

After Carlo selling this place, it all went crumbling down ….. food quality presentation etc. all of the friendly workers had all gone. Very sad to once a great establishment UPDATE!…. They actually have a new short order cook just as good or even better than Carlo. The actual first cook on the new management was horrible but now this place is worth going to great job and getting rid of the first cook. She was horrible. Thank you new management for getting the place back in shape

Carlos diner is phenomenal the food is astounding and not over priced... if you like cracker barrel you won't like it as much after a visit, typically in the morning they're pretty swamped. actually the local sheriff's and police have breakfast there... Proper southern food and hospitality don't be surprised if you get a couple of what we call "good ol'boy head nods" I absolutely love this place in fact i think ill trt to get there before they close 🤣🤤 and i mean it. Go eat there once and you'll love it... If your from out of town you'll remember it.

I love diners, especially neighborhood, mom and pop, so this is a solid place for a home-style breakfast. No fuss, nothing too fancy. It was pretty busy but the wait wasn’t too crazy. The menu has a lot of options. I would definitely recommend if you are looking for something casual and I’ll probably be returning to try other dishes. I ordered the waffle combo with eggs, bacon and hash browns.

We stopped by to try this local diner, it wasn’t a huge place, but it was clean, bright and don’t have an old restaurant smell. Service was fantastic! We also liked their family style atmosphere! Seems to me everyone knows each others in this town. Price was very reasonable considering in today’s economy? I had 2 eggs, pit ham and pancakes, they were good! But I love their pancakes the most, great texture! For the price they charge I can easily eat there 2-3 times a week! We will definitely be back soon!
