Desi Cafe

Omg i dont even know where to start... The owners are the most welcoming, the food was on point, the tea was fantastic and the whole atmosphere of the place was just bless! Extremely child friendly! And the best desi breakfast i have ever had! Thank you sooo much desi cafe for your amazing food and hospitality and we will defo see you again soon!!

We discovered this place some months ago; a great find. We have ordered 6 times or so and have tried many dishes all of which have the authentic home cooked taste; some of their curries and pulaos when made fresh on the day are absoloutely amazing. The desi breakfast and Halva poori breakfast are both nice/ the parathas With these meals are the store brought ones however I have ordered their potato filled home made one and that is very good too. The pulaos are like yakhni pulaos with subtle flavours that are not routinely found from other restaurants. The vegetable pakoras are fantastic. The lamb curry and nehari both excellent with good portions of meat. Generally we found their meat pieces in their dishes to be comparable to or more generous than other restaurants. We have tried their zarda twice and both times it was fresh and very tasty. Their keema roll was pretty good too. The haleem and hareesa both were wonderfully flavoured. One of the best things is that their menu is very extensive and different. When food arrives it’s hot and excellent. Again we feel it is comparable to most other places we end up ordering from. We will continue to order ..... and we hope they continue to be on here ...

Nice little cafe. We had aloo paratha with chana masala and some small pots of pickle and yoghurt. The paratha was really good but the chickpeas were a little spicy for us! My mom and sister had jacket potatoes and enjoyed them, the lady even gave them some small pots of their curries to try. Only downfall was the lady was very busy and had her child with her, it seemed like she was struggling a little but we understand small businesses can have those problems. Great prices and a good range of food! I'll definitely be going back to try the veggie breakfast as it looks great.
